October Spiritual Insights
The New Moon is conjunct Jupiter and Mercury indicating clarity of thought and a move to peace in global affairs. As Libra is the sign of relationships and peace there are movements towards peacefulness.
There is a kala sarpa yoga in effect between now and January. All the planets are contained on one side of Rahu and Ketu. Each month there is a period for two weeks that the Kala Sarpa is broken by the Moon as it transits outside the entrapment of this yoga. But there are two weeks that the Moon is traveling inside Rahu and Ketu for the next four months. This intensifies the effects of the planets and their aspects. This is the indicator of very intense events that have a fated affect. The world is under the effects of our actions. Massive changes are about to transpire that will bring a much-needed healing for the future.
In the wake of the recent storms and earthquakes that accompany solar eclipses there is a need for peace. Many are writing about the Armageddon due from biblical dates such as September 23. They proclaim that God is angry and casting punishment onto the world for all of our wrong doing. I believe this is nonsense. Human emotion on a mass level creates the turbulence we see on Earth. There are astrological indications that spur on human feelings. God is not judgmental casting punishment onto people and the world. To judge is human and God is beyond human emotions and attributes. People use religion to emit their feelings of judgment and anger. Always claiming others are the cause and reason for our downfall. Casting their anger onto the world but never looking at themselves as the cause for the anger emotions that infiltrate the world. The harsh judgments of biblical fanatics or any religion project righteous condemnation, guilt and shame. God is unconditional love and doesn’t judge or punish, this is a human characteristic and we cannot believe God is human.
The Universe is built on cause and effect and what we do we are liable for and it will affect us. We cannot project our faults onto God or others. Another cop out I hear all the time is when people blame their life or world situation on their karma. Woe is me, my karma is so bad I will never escape my situation. Lately I have been hearing people saying the U.S. has bad karma and needs to be destroyed. Here again people are projecting their need for justice and punishment. In effect what we are actually doing with feelings like this we are punishing ourselves.
When we realize the need for punishment comes from anger within we have the power to release it because we are the ones creating it. A life of joy and gratitude replaces the negative emotions and life becomes peaceful. This is more in alignment with the truth and the essence of God.
What we should realize from all this is that we are doing all of this to ourselves. The wars, storms and earthquakes. This should be the realization from this recent most extreme total solar eclipse. Eclipses reveal the truth hidden in the dark. Currently the transit of Jupiter in Libra can bring a sense of peace and realization. Libra as the sign of balance gives the ability to see both sides of any situation clearly surfacing the truth. The truth is awareness and seeing with clarity unattached to human emotion of judgement, anger and punishment can enlighten and bring a beautiful transformation of human consciousness. This will bring peace and love to all. It starts with us individually. This can be the realization beyond the need to be right or wrong to come together with the power of acceptance and unconditional love. You have a choice to be in the misery of judgment and punishment or the joy of love.
October Predictions and Aspects
Events in October concern out of control Ghanadanta planets. Both Rahu and Saturn are Ghandanta this month, Saturn is 29 degrees Scorpio and Rahu is 28 degrees of Cancer. The effects of these two malefic planets causes events that feel out of control. The storms, floods and drowning has devastated many regions in the world. The waters are contaminated and causing even more problems to the world. The area of Scorpio that Saturn is transiting pertains to poisons and can indicate health issues surrounding problems with water.
Saturn as it transits these degrees deeply affects President Trump’s chart as he has his natal Moon 28 degrees Scorpio and his Sun at 29 degrees Taurus. He will contend with extreme opposition in personal and worldly affairs.

This month Rahu aspects Saturn and Saturn aspects Ketu (3rd aspect). While Saturn is still in Scorpio it is creating a contentious mood surfacing how governments have been manipulating the economy. As the next series of solar eclipses near there will be events concerning corruption in the financial world. Saturn’s transit into Sagittarius will change these effects.
Saturn will transit into Sagittarius this October 26th where it will remain for two years till January 23, 2020. As Saturn transits into Sagittarius it will give a much-needed relief to the sign Scorpio. Those with Scorpio planets or Ascendant will feel a sigh of relief.
The new Moon at 2 degrees Libra is exactly opposed Uranus indicating sudden and unexpected events, such as earthquakes. The dispositors of Uranus/Sun/Moon are Mars and Venus which as they transit together in Virgo surface issues around heath issues. Infectious disease will be on a rise globally.
Mars aspects Uranus by its 8th aspect (quincunx) which can have explosive effect in terms of clashes and social uprisings. Fighting in the middle east will escalate with terrorism particularly in Turkey. Earthquakes will be more active around the world.
The most promising aspect this month involves Jupiter’s transit in Libra bringing the prospect of peace. Mercury and the Sun are traveling with Jupiter in Libra promoting a sense of compromise. There is a need for peace after a year of contention and fighting around the world.
This month is critical in terms of the realization of major events in war and finality in the mounting pressures. Many prospects of peace will emerge out of the crises that come to a conclusion this month. The threats of North Korea are beginning to end this month.
The weather will change as the Sun enters Libra around mid-October due to Jupiter’s transit into the air sign Libra and in nakshatra Swati. There will be a cold snap in the northern hemisphere. This will be a very cold winter. I predict more snow and ice storms throughout the north.
