March Against Monsanto Launches Times Square Billboard to Coincide With Global Protests

In an effort to promote global awareness over the issue of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and cancer-linked herbicides in the food supply, the grassroots activism group March Against Monsanto has launched a Times Square billboard campaign above the Ripley's building in New York City ahead of its 4th annual international street march against Monsanto.

Set to run from April 25th to May 25th, the billboard campaign features the back of a topless female model, with the accompanying statement: 'Keep GMOs out of your genes.”

“Monsanto has infiltrated various agencies within the United States government, and as a result both public health and the health of our environment has suffered greatly.

Glyphosate, the cancer-linked herbicide that is an essential component in the expansion of GMO crops, is already being banned around the world over safety concerns. Here in the United States, glyphosate is consistently being discovered in everything from hospital feeding tubes and tampons to the breast milk of nursing mothers.

It is because of findings like these and many others that we have decided to launch our first official Times Square billboard campaign, which will help spread awareness to thousands of people from around the world,” March Against Monsanto wrote in an official statement on the campaign.

Coinciding with the billboard campaign run, March Against Monsanto will launch its 4th global street march in protest of Monsanto and GMOs on May 21st, 2016. Hundreds of thousands of concerned citizens are expected to gather across more than 49 countries and 388 cities to join in peaceful protest as a part of the grassroots movement.

No matter if you’re asleep at the wheel of life or have awoken to not just the consciousness of reality, but also the corporatocracy that has hijacked our world, most of us are paying attention to our shrinking wallets, as well as the political circus. The system is in the limelight, but not how the power structure would like it to be.

The social engineering agenda of dumbing the masses into good little minions of the system has been highly successful, however too many people are now suffering and looking for answers why.

Sometimes it feels that the alternative media gives them too much credit too, because it’s also been highly successful at exposing itself and therefore waking up people to their enslavement, as well as the lies, deception, toxicity and control-matrix itself.

In response, grass-roots truth and sovereignty movements are budding all over the earth in a decentralised and impenetrable way. People are organising all across the planet to peacefully resist the encroachment on our freedoms and build healthy and progressive alternatives to a profit-before-morality model which has infiltrated our economic, political, medicinal, entrepreneurial and philosophical spheres.

Money has talked, but the real people have started to walk

In addition, those who lie in the middle of the lie are curious about all the noise happening in both the alternative and in the matrix-media, so their concentration has been captured too. Simply, most eyes are focused on the money, and the political arena.

And hasn’t the existing order embarrassed themselves.

Når Christian Clausen trækker sig fra posten som direktør for bankkoncernen Nordea, er det nok især Nordeas ledelse og presseafdeling, der udelukkende har rosende ord at sige om den afgående direktør.

Andre i hans omgivelser – personalet, økonomerne og erhvervsjournalisterne – lader til at have et langt mere komplekst billede af den 60-årige danske topchef.

»Jeg er bange for, at det er skandalerne, han vil blive husket for«, siger Carolina Neurath, erhvervsjournalist på Svenska Dagbladet, til Politiken.

Siden Christian Clausen tiltrådte i 2008, har han ganske vist leveret gode resultater og en stærkere Nordea-aktie – men han har også bragt sindene i kog.

Første gang han kom i medierne, var, da Nordeas bestyrelse i 2011 besluttede at købe en 256 kvadratmeter stor lejlighed til ham på en af Stockholms mest eksklusive adresser. Værdi: 22,5 millioner svenske kroner og renoveret for omtrent 10 millioner kroner. En bolig til en direktør, som de seneste fire år havde tjent 40 millioner svenske kroner.

Det skete samtidig med at Nordea gennemgik en sparerunde, hvor 2.000 personer i hele koncernen skulle afskediges, deriblandt 500-600 i Sverige.

Vrede over pension

Det er blot nogle af de problemer, der plager flere afdelinger på Herlev og Gentofte Hospital, og som foreløbig har forsinket hundredvis af patientforløb.

An EgyptAir flight carrying at least 59 passengers and 10 crew members went off the radar after departing from Paris and heading to Cairo, the airline said in a brief statement.

“An informed source at EGYPTAIR stated that Flight No. MS804, which departed Paris at 23:09 (CEST), heading to Cairo has disappeared from radar,” the airline said on its Twitter.

Flight MS804 left Charles de Gaulle Airport at 11:09 pm on Wednesday Paris time and was expected to arrive in Cairo by 3 am on Thursday. A direct flight usually takes just over four hours.

The Egyptian government has released no comment on the incident so far.

EgyptAir tweeted out that the flight disappeared from radar at 2:45 am Cairo time, when the plane was at an altitude of 37,000 feet (11,300 meters) and around 10 miles (16 kilometers) inside Egyptian airspace.

EgyptAir confirmed that all authorities have been informed of the missing plane, which disappeared near Greece. Rescue efforts are underway.

Egyptian rescue teams are reportedly working with their Greek counterparts to locate the plane.
