Dommen over Anders Fogh Rasmussens tid som statsminister bliver hård i et historisk lys, mener Socialdemokraternes politiske ordfører.

Anders Fogh Rasmussen kan som mangeårig statsminister ikke tale sig uden om at have en del af skylden for finanskrisen påvirkning af Danmark.

Det mener Socialdemokraternes politiske ordfører, Nicolai Wammen, i kølvandet på søndagens interview i Berlingske, hvor Fogh Rasmussen afviser enhver kritik at finanspolitikken i hans regeringstid.

»Jeg tror, den historiske dom bliver hård over Anders Fogh Rasmussens statsministertid. Han havde alle muligheder for at lave reformer, men han var mere optaget af at blive genvalgt end af at fremtidssikre dansk økonomi. Det betød, at i de år, hvor det gik godt, tog man ikke de nødvendige og fornuftige beslutninger, som kunne have gjort, at man ikke først senere skulle rydde op efter tiden med Anders Fogh Rasmussen i statsministerstolen,« siger Nicolai Wammen.

Han køber ikke en forklaring om, at den parlamentariske situation afgjorde, hvor langt man kunne gå ad reformvejen.

»Det er hans ansvar som leder af landet. Anders Fogh Rasmussen var mere optaget af at have et godt forhold til Pia Kjærsgaard, end han var af, at der var styr på økonomien både på den korte bane og på den lange. Da finanskrisen så ramte Danmark, havde man forsømt at lave de reformer, der kunne have fået Danmark til at stå stærkere,« siger Nicolai Wammen.

Anders Fogh Rasmussen erkender i interviewet med Berlingske bevidst at have snydt Mogens Lykketoft under valgkampen i 2005 ved at pumpe et »virkeligt skrabet« budget op til 30 mia. kr. ved at gange op med fire år.

Siden er en tilsvarende metode blevet benyttet af bl.a. Helle Thorning-Schmidt (S), medgiver Nicolai Wammen.

»Men man kan vist ikke beskylde Thorning Schmidt-regeringen for at have truffet lutter nemme beslutninger frem for at sætte gang i reformer. På den måde tog Helle Thorning-Schmidt ansvar i stedet for at skubbe problemerne foran sig. På den måde kan man ikke sammenligne tingene,« siger han.

Edward Snowden: Osama Bin Laden Is “Alive And Well In The Bahamas” - May 8, 2016 CET

The NSA whistleblower claims to have documents proving that Bin Laden is still on the CIA’s bankroll and that he’s living a life of luxury in the Bahamas.

After Edward Snowden, a former National Security Agency (NSA) contractor, leaked classified  documents about government surveillance programs in 2013, he was charged with a number of crimes – each which have a maximum sentence of 10 years. Because the computer expert believed he was right to reveal extensive phone surveillance by U.S. intelligence, he fled his home country.
Now living in Russia, where he was offered asylum for one year, he revealed another controversial bit of information. According to the Moscow Tribune, Snowden believes that Osama Bin Laden – the famous terrorist and former leader of Al Qaeda – is alive and receiving benefits from the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

“I have documents showing that Bin Laden is still on the CIA’s payroll,” claims Edward Snowden. “He is still receiving more than $100,000 a month, which are being transferred through some front businesses and organizations, directly to his Nassau bank account. I am not certain where he is now, but in 2013, he was living quietly in his villa with five of his wives and many children.”

According to Mr. Snowden, the government organization faked Bin Laden’s death then transported the terrorist and his family to an undisclosed location in the Bahamas.

“Osama Bin Laden was one of the CIA’s most efficient operatives for a long time,” claims the famous whistleblower. “What kind of message would it send their other operatives if they were to let the SEALs kill him? They organized his fake death with the collaboration of the Pakistani Secret services, and he simply abandoned his cover. Since everyone believes he is dead, nobody’s looking for him, so it was pretty easy to disappear. Without the beard and the military jacket, nobody recognizes him.”

NaijaPicks (the original source) relays that the documents proving this controversial claim are included in his book, which was published in September 2015.
Though Snowden claims he leaked the documents to help the American people, he remains a fugitive in the United States. Even though nearly 168,000 people signed a petition for him to be pardoned, the White House rejected the effort on July 28, 2015.
When Snowden was in Hong Kong, several journalists were granted the opportunity to interview him in his secret hideout. After being asked why he left his home country, he told The Guardian: 

“I don’t want to live in a society that does these sort of things… I do not want to live in a world where everything I do and say is recorded.”

They might look like the latest adorable animal to be destined for internet immortality, but the raccoon dogs are facing slaughter after they became a serious threat to other animals in Sweden.

They are known to feed on amphibians and ground-nesting birds and it’s this diet that is causing an ‘ecological disaster’, according to Per-Arne Ahlen, who is leading the project to eradicate the animals.

But it’s almost a case of dog eats dog, with the project enlisting the help of trained raccoon dogs to kill their feral counterparts.

The BBC reports they are taking a select group of raccoon dogs known as ‘Judas animals’, before sterilising them and releasing them back into the wild.

Raccoon dogs are known to mate with a single partner for a life – and the Judas dogs will go searching for a new partner when they’re released.

As soon as one stops moving, one of the six full-time workers will detect this on a GPS tracker – and will be sent to discover if it has found a new partner – before taking the wild animal and killing it.

But Ahlen says that the project has faced little opposition from animal rights group – as the project aims to protect ecology.

‘Not even the animal rights groups are against what we’re doing because we are protecting our grandchildren’s nature, we are protecting the animals that will disappear if we have raccoon dogs in southern Sweden’, he said.

‘Conservation biology is not always nice, it’s not beautiful all the time.’

FACILITATION OF A PRESIDENTIAL TRANSITION

By the authority vested in me as President by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including section 7301 of title 5, United States Code, and the Presidential Transition Act of 1963, as amended, and to assist the Presidential transition, it is hereby ordered as follows:

Section 1. Policy. The peaceful transition of power has long been a hallmark of American democracy. It is the policy of the United States to undertake all reasonable efforts to ensure that Presidential transitions are well-coordinated and effective, without regard to party affiliation.

Sec. 2. Establishment of the White House Transition Coordinating Council. (a) To facilitate the Presidential transition, including assisting and supporting the transition efforts of the transition teams of eligible candidates, there is established a White House Transition Coordinating Council.

(b) The White House Transition Coordinating Council shall be composed of the following officials or their designees:

(i) Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff, who shall serve as Chair;

(ii) Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, who shall serve as Vice Chair;

Gode Penge sagde det, Nationalbankdirektøren sagde det, og Jesper Rangvid sagde det samme. - Private banker skaber penge.

Det tog tid, men præmissen - at private banker skaber penge når de yder "lån" - synes snart at være etableret i den økonomiske diskurs. Derfor er det selvfølgelig nu på tide at få diskuteret, hvorvidt det er godt eller skidt at bankerne skaber penge.

Gode Penge har inviteret cheføkonom og underdirektør i bankernes interesseorganisation, Finansrådet, til debatarrangement om bankernes pengeskabelse, og du skal med.

Frihandelsaftalen TTIP mellem EU og USA er det helt store samtaleemne. De to verdensdele forhandler nemlig om en aftale, der kan betyde store ændringer for dig som forbruger.

Hvad er TTIP?

Frihandelsaftalen, der for tiden forhandles mellem EU og USA, er en såkaldt udvidet frihandelsaftale. Den bærer den tekniske betegnelse TTIP, Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. Aftalen indeholder mange ting, som er vigtige for danske forbrugere.

Forbrugerrådet Tænk har samlet de vigtigste i denne artikel.

Baggrunden for TTIP frihandelsaftalen er et ønske om øget harmonisering af lovgivningen EU og USA imellem. På den måde skal handlen mellem de to verdensdele blive lettere, og håbet er, at det sætter gang i økonomien og skaber flere jobs. Aftalen forventes klar i 2017.

First on CNN: Russians 'barrel roll' over another U.S. Air Force plane

Washington (CNN)A Russian SU-27 conducted a "barrel roll" Friday over the top of a U.S. Air Force RC-135 which was flying a reconnaissance mission in international airspace above the Baltic Sea, the Defense Department said.The Russian SU-27 approached alongside within 25 feet of the U.S. aircraft and then flew inverted over the top of the plane to the other side, Lt. Col. Michelle L. Baldanza, a U.S. Army spokesperson, said in a statement."The SU-27 intercepted the U.S. aircraft flying a routine route at high rate of speed from the side then proceeded to perform an aggressive maneuver that posed a threat to the safety of the U.S. aircrew in the RC-135," Baldanza said.

The U.S. considers this a very unsafe aerial maneuver and is expected to voice its concerns to the Russians, a U.S. defense official told CNN.

This is the second barrel roll maneuver over a U.S. aircraft by the Russians this month. On April 14, a Russian jet "performed erratic and aggressive maneuvers" as it flew within 50 feet of a U.S. aircraft's wing tip, Danny Hernandez, a spokesman for U.S. European Command, said in a response to a question from CNN.

In that incident, an RC-135 aircraft also was intercepted by a Russian SU-27. The Russian SU-27 began the barrel roll from the left side of the U.S. RC-135 and went over the top of it to end on the right side of the aircraft, U.S. European Command said.

This also comes after two encounters earlier this month in the Baltic Sea between the Navy missile destroyer USS Donald Cook and two Russian jets. In one of those incidents, a Russian jet flew within 75 feet of the ship.
