Boeing sues Denmark over lack of access to documents in combat jet dispute

Boeing is taking Denmark to court over a lack of access to documents used in the government's decision last year to buy Lockheed Martin's (LMT.N) new F-35 Lightning II combat jets in preference to Boeing's F/A 18 Super Hornets.

"Boeing has filed a lawsuit against the Ministry of Defence because the ministry has not responded to the request for access to the documents which are the foundation for the evaluation in the competition for the fighter jets," Boeing said in statement.

Last year Boeing complained about the government's decision to buy 27 F-35s, saying it questioned the accuracy of data used in the decision making process which suggested its Super Hornets would be a more expensive option.

Boeing subsequently said in September that it had submitted a request to the defense ministry that would require it to provide all materials related to the procurement evaluation and decision.

The ministry said in a statement on Thursday that it had not given Boeing access to the documents because the U.S. firm had not told the government exactly what documents it wanted to see.

The ministry said it could not comment further now that the legal action was underway.

On March 5, three Secret Space Program books were at the top of the Amazon Best Seller lists for the UFO category. Two of the books, deal with a highly secretive program run by the US Navy, while the other deals with the US Air Force’s better known program run out of Area 51.

The current number 1 is The US Navy’s Secret Space Program and Nordic Extraterrestrial Alliance just released on March 1 that focuses on the testimony of retired aerospace engineer William Tompkins. The book uses extensive documentation to validate his claim of being directly involved in a US Navy espionage program with 29 Navy spies embedded in Nazi Germany’s top aerospace programs. A bizarre 'megaship' has allegedly been captured by an International Space Station (ISS) camera before Nasa reportedly dims the feed.

Conspiracy theorists are claiming that the footage could have been altered by the independent space agency to make the objects 'disappear'.

In the clip, a long 'cigar-shaped' UFO is seen hovering above the Earth's horizon with two bright reflective-objects sitting just below.

The video was uploaded to YouTube by Streetcap1.

EU-udvalg truer banker på livet ved medvirken til skattesnyd



Banker, revisorer og advokater, der hjælper deres kunder med at skjule formuer for skat og politi, skal kunne miste retten til at drive erhverv.

Det er ifølge den socialdemokratiske EU-parlamentariker Jeppe Kofod et af de forslag, som Europa-Parlamentets særlige skattesnydsudvalg er på vej til at fremsætte.

- Man skal kunne miste sin ret til at drive forretning, hvis man bliver taget i at hjælpe med at lave ulovligheder, siger Jeppe Kofod.

Han er med i spidsen for Europa-Parlamentets kulegravning af den skattesnyd og hvidvask af penge, som de såkaldte Panama-papirer har afsløret.

Udvalget har mandag i Bruxelles haft sin tredje og sidste høring om den rolle, som banker, revisorer og advokater har spillet i skandalen.

- Det er helt tydeligt, at der ikke er kontrol nok, og at de her mellemmænd slipper for nemt af sted med at medvirke til ulovligheder, siger Jeppe Kofod efter den sidste høring.
