President Donald Trump is fighting to find a medical solution for Coronavirus in the short term, expressing hope that the anti-malaria drug Chloroquine/hydroxychloroquine can help patients suffering from the Chinese virus.
The truth is that President Donald Trump is locked in an intense power struggle with Bill Gates, who is pushing his vaccines, which will not be available to the public until after November’s election. Gates has a lot of pull in the medical world, he has a multi-million dollar relationship with Dr. Fauci, and Fauci originally took the Gates line supporting vaccines and casting doubt on Chloroquine.

As MarketWatch is reporting today, “A record 3.28 million Americans applied for unemployment benefits last week amid pandemic.”
The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many to lose their jobs in the hotel and travel sectors unexpectedly, as well as in the service industries.
One silver lining of the mass social distancing experiment occurring in the US and Europe right now — which is an attempt to prevent the large-scale deaths seen in Wuhan, China and later in Italy, when COVID-19 spread to older populations there — is that an UNPRECEDENTED number of people are on the Internet right now, seeking out unbiased information, news, and entertainment to such an extent that the Internet’s infrastructure may be near a breaking point.
YouTube and Netflix are reportedly streaming much of their content in standard definition right now, as opposed to high definition, in order to lessen the load on key Internet infrastructure.

European markets opened significantly lower on Friday, ignoring all the stimulus pledges by governments this week, as the deadly Covid-19 pandemic continues to spread
Britain’s FTSE 100 is plummeting more than three percent during early trading in London. Stock markets in Germany and France are down over two percent.
The market fall comes as EU leaders fail to come to an agreement over the economic response to the coronavirus pandemic. During a video conference summit on Thursday, the leaders of the 27-member bloc argued over how to pull their economies through the crisis, with Italy accusing other member states of having a timid response to the unprecedented economic shock.
The overall number of deaths in Europe due to coronavirus has exceeded 14,000 since the first recorded fatality in France on February 15. The majority of deaths have occurred in Italy, with 8,215. March 26 was the deadliest day so far in Europe, with 1,918 virus-related deaths recorded in 26 different European countries.

Alt handler om corona, og det gør det her også - men fra lidt andre vinkler. Danmark har valgt en temmelig radikal tilgang med lukning af grænser og nedlukning af store dele af erhvervslivet, selvom sundhedsmyndighederne ikke har anbefalet det. Sverige (og Storbritannien indtil for nyligt) har valgt en anden tilgang, og tiden vil vise, hvad der er bedst. Men "bedst" er svært at måle – æbler og pærer. Måske får vi færre smittede, men bliver det på bekostning af et samfund i flerårig recession med massearbejdsløshed og kæmpestore udgifter til sociale ydelser, fordi små og mellemstore virksomheder har måttet dreje nøglen om? Vi får se.
I februar-udgaven af nyhedsbrevet havde vi en artikel: Er du bange for coronavirus? Den gik land og rige rundt, indtil den blev lukket ned som fake news, og vi blev udfordret af journalister fra Tjekdet og Information på sandhedsværdien. Vi valgte at fjerne den, både for ikke at stå i vejen for myndighedernes håndtering og for at finde mere belæg for de oplysninger, der fremkom i artiklen. Myndighederne er ikke siden kommet med specielt brugbare sundhedsråd ud over afstand og afspritning, og i mellemtiden er det strømmet ind med henvisninger til studier, der omhandler forskning og behandling med C-vitaminer samt andre måder at booste sit immunforsvar på. Samtidig er C-vitamin blevet officiel behandlingsform mod coronavirus i Shanghai, og nu er et New York-hospital også gået i gang med at behandle med C-vitamin efter de gode resultater i Kina. Hvorfor får sundhedsmyndighederne ikke den slags oplysninger ud til folk? Nogen må gøre det, og nu gør vi det! Man kan med sindsro sige, at de sidste dage har været hektiske.
Jeg vil ikke her gentage alle mine argumenter for, at vi IKKE er på vej ind i en bragende corona-epidemi. Dagens sidste procentuelle tal af smittede ifht testede har vist et fortsat lille fald fra i går. Men nu lader vi lige tallene og corona være.
Jeg vil hellere tale om tonen. Det er tankevækkende, hvor mange, som skriver utroligt grimt om andre – også mig og min datter Mai. Det siger selvfølgelig mere om dem, som skriver så ækelt. Men sådan er det og det indhenter dem selv. Plus jeg selvfølgelig er meget bekymret for, hvordan selvsamme voksne mennesker opdrager deres egne børn. Hvis det er repræsentativt for hvilken opdragelse børnene får pt hjemme – må vi stå overfor en kæmpe mobbebølge. Ulykkeligt. Meget ulykkeligt for de børn, som det kommer til at ramme.
