Denmark to expand military mission against Islamic State into Syria

Denmark, small as a peanut - Big as a giant? Why do we go to war?
Because we can, because it's easy, and because we have become accustomed to it...., Most European countries say no to a military attack on Syria, China and Russia also opposed the attack has no legal basis in the UN, it has a clear military target, and popular support for it is at best diffuse. Yet Denmark supports US military action against Assad's regime. The unconditional support may seem strange. It is not however.

Denmark goes to war
Since 1990s, over 28,000 Danish soldiers have been sent to war, some several times, and in all, Denmark has sent soldiers off over 42,000 times. For new operations, a majority in parliament to vote for the resolution. It has happened many times since 1990.
