Immediate solutions are needed to prevent Bangkok from sinking 15 years from now, with experts warning that the capital might even have to be relocated
A committee set up by the ruling National Reform Council warned that due to rising sea levels and the weight of heavy buildings, the Thai capital may be submerged in water in less than 15 years if urgent action is not taken, the Bangkok Post reported.The NRC committee submitted a report to parliament concluding that Bangkok is only 0.5 to 2 metres above sea level, with further subsidence expected through the excessive use of underground pumping and an increase in construction.
Witthaya Kulsomboon, head of the committee, said: "There are about 700 buildings with 20 floors or more and 4,000 buildings with 8 to 20 floors in Bangkok. "These could cause the submergence of parts of Bangkok and surrounding areas in the future". Mr Witthaya added that solutions must be urgently implemented and the relocation of the capital might have to be considered.
Reform councillors have supported this idea, proposing that the government move industries and businesses out of the capital. Sujarit Khunthanakulwong, a member of the NRC committee, said that construction must be controlled, and recommended building a sea wall embankment to protect the greater Bangkok area from rising sea levels. "Otherwise," he said, "Bangkok will be submerged in 15 years". The NRC is to send its report to the cabinet in seven days and is urging the prime minister, General Prayuth Chan-ocha, to chair a national committee in order to avert this catastrophe.

If Jade Helm is just a training exercise, then why can’t the rest of America get to watch? What is the big secret? I don’t think there has ever been a drill of this magnitude in the U.S.

Time will tell if they do, in fact, break down your door at 2:00 AM and take your firearms; then you will know it is not an exercise anymore and it will be an illegal act.

This is no different than a burglar breaking into your home: you should be able to defend yourself and your property. I know there are citizen groups trying to keep an eye on what’s going on but the problem will be that the news media will not be allowed to broadcast the events as they unfold because they are good little boys and girls and do as they are told.

The only place you might find some news about Jade Helm is the Internet, unless they shut that down. I would not be surprised if that actually happens and the excuse they will use is to stop ISIS from recruiting potential terrorists over the Web.

I believe that this is all tied into Planet X’s arrival and the elimination of billions of men, women and children, which saddens me greatly. If I survive Planet X’s passing, I think that those in government and NASA who knew that Planet X was coming and did not warn us are no better than a convicted murderer in prison.

Justice would be rounding them all up and giving them the same treatment as a murderer would get; there is no difference in their action. What the hell went wrong with these people? They certainly are not God-fearing and definitely do not have your best interests at heart. These are so-called elected representatives of the people, but my question is, which people are they representing? Certainly not you or me.

With all the talk of Greek debt unsustainability (and now, thanks to Jack Lew and the IMF, forgiveness), one would think that Greece - whose debt/GDP is set to rise to 238% according to Citi - is the only country in Europe which has debt problems. It's not, and as the latest data from Eurostat confirms, as of Q1 2015, European debt rose to €9.4 trillion from €9.3 trillion, which is a new record high debt/GDP of 92.9%, up from 92.0% the previous quarter.


It wasn't just the Euroarea of 19 EUR member nations that saw their debt increase: the broader European Union of 28 countries also saw its debt rise, and by a far more noticeable €300 billion, from €12.1 trillion to €12.4 trillion.
