California 'hellscape' wildfire tears through LA sparking mass evacuations and panic

A DEVASTATING brush fire broke out on Thursday night in Sylmar causing areas to be evacuated and roads closed as it continues to spread through the region.

“At this point right now it is just a lot of little hot spots.

“But earlier on there were balls of fire working their way through these people’s backyards.

“Earlier on when we first arrives we saw oceans of embers just blowing across the freeway.

She then took to reading about the fire on Twitter and realised the magnitude of the event.
