Randy Conway Poems | May 12, 2018 | ~ THE LOSS OF INNOCENCE ~ | .. Every day the news is filled with sad stories of pedophilia, child sacrifice and missing and exploited children. The number of deaths by drug overdose in 2016 exceeded the total number of deaths in 20 years of the Vietnam War. Drug addiction and violent crime is on the forefront of the news continually. Of course some stories are meant to be always in the news in order to divert our attention, however, as parents and grandparents we must be aware of the never ending attack against our children and their innocence.
