NEWS | Making Schools Resilient to Natural Disasters in the Philippines


2 March 2018: More than 9,600 students and teachers from the disaster-prone Eastern Visayas region in the Philippines participated in a large-scale tsunami evacuation drills over the last two days. The drills were conducted in six schools to advocate for the schools’ readiness to rapidly forming natural disasters such as tsunamis, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and landslides. Read more >>
