Californien kunne nå "Ground Zero", Fukushima, som  bærer hovedbyrden af den stråling båret af Stillehavets jetstrøm. Michio Aoyama, seniorforsker på den Japanske Meteorologiske Institut, fandt, at niveauet af cæsium 137 på overfladen af ​​Stillehavet potentielt kunne være 10.000 gange højere, af forureningen i Tjernobyl, hvis atomeksplosion var den værste atomulykke i verden, før Fukushima katastrofe.

Uanset hvad, er det ikke det sidste vi hører og vil blive observeret, og selvom Californien sidder over 8.000 km væk fra den japanske kystlinjen, kan det i sidste ende blive "ground zero" for den næste store bølge af stråling fra Fukushima.

Is Fukushima the greatest environmental disaster of all time?  Every single day, 300 tons of radioactive water from Fukushima enters the Pacific Ocean.  The radioactive material that is being released will outlive all of us by a very wide margin, and it is constantly building up in the food chain.  Nobody knows for sure how many people will eventually develop cancer and other health problems as a result of the Fukushima nuclear disaster, but some experts are not afraid to use the word “billions”.  It has been well over two years since the original disaster, and now they are telling us that it could take up to 40 more years to clean it up.  It is a nightmare of unimaginable proportions, and there is nowhere in the northern hemisphere that you will be able to hide from it.  The following are 11 facts about the ongoing Fukushima nuclear holocaust that are almost too horrifying to believe…

#1 It is estimated that there are 1,331 used nuclear fuel rods that need to be removed from Fukushima.  Because of all of the damage that has taken place, computer-guided removal of the rods will not be possible.  Manual removal is much riskier, and it is absolutely essential that the removal of each of the 1,331 rods goes perfectly because a single mistake could potentially lead to a nuclear chain reaction.

#2 According to Reuters, the combined amount of cesium-137 contained in those nuclear fuel rods is 14,000 times greater than what was released when the U.S. dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima at the end of World War II.  Other estimates put this number far higher.

#3 Officials in Japan admit that 300 tons of radioactive water from Fukushima is entering the Pacific Ocean every 24 hours.

#4 According to a professor at Tokyo University, 3 gigabecquerels of cesium-137 are flowing into the port at Fukushima Daiichi every single day…

   " Yoichiro Tateiwa, NHK reporter: [Professor Jota] Kanda argues government statistics don’t add up. He says a daily leakage of 300 tons doesn’t explain the current levels of radiation in the water.

    Jota Kanda, Tokyo University professor: According to my research there are now 3 gigabecquerels [3 billion becquerels] of cesium-137 flowing into the port at Fukushima Daiichi every day. But for the 300 tons of groundwater to contain this much cesium-137, one liter of groundwater has to contain 10,000 becquerels of the radioactive isotope.

    NHK: Kanda’s research and monitoring by Tepco puts the amount of cesium-137 in the groundwater around the plant at several hundred becquerels per liter at most. He’s concluded that radioactive isotope is finding another way to get into the ocean. He’s calling on the government and Tepco to identify contamination routes other than groundwater."

#5 According to Tepco, a total of somewhere between 20 trillion and 40 trillion becquerels of radioactive tritium have gotten into the Pacific Ocean since the Fukushima disaster first began.

#6 Something is causing fish along the west coast of Canada to bleed from their gills, bellies and eyeballs.  Could Fukushima be responsible?

#7 150 former sailors and Marines say that they now have radiation sickness as a result of serving on U.S. Navy ships near Fukushima and they are suing for damages.

#8 The Iodine-131, Cesium-137 and Strontium-90 that are constantly coming from Fukushima are going to affect the health of those living the the northern hemisphere for a very, very long time.  Just check out what Harvey Wasserman had to say recently…

    "Iodine-131, for example, can be ingested into the thyroid, where it emits beta particles (electrons) that damage tissue. A plague of damaged thyroids has already been reported among as many as 40 percent of the children in the Fukushima area. That percentage can only go higher. In developing youngsters, it can stunt both physical and mental growth. Among adults it causes a very wide range of ancillary ailments, including cancer.

    Cesium-137 from Fukushima has been found in fish caught as far away as California. It spreads throughout the body, but tends to accumulate in the muscles.

    Strontium-90’s half-life is around 29 years. It mimics calcium and goes to our bones."

#9 It is believed that the Fukushima nuclear facility originally contained a whopping 1760 tons of nuclear material.

#10 It is being projected that the entire Pacific Ocean will soon “have cesium levels 5 to 10 times higher” than what we witnessed during the era of heavy atomic bomb testing in the Pacific many decades ago.

#11 According to the Wall Street Journal, it is being projected that the cleanup of Fukushima could take up to 40 years to complete.

Sadly, the true horror of this disaster is only starting to be understood, and most people have absolutely no idea how serious all of this is.  What fallout researcher Christina Consolo told RT the other day should be very sobering for all of us…

    "We have endless releases into the Pacific Ocean that will be ongoing for not only our lifetimes, but our children’s’ lifetimes. We have 40 million people living in the Tokyo area nearby. We have continued releases from the underground corium that reminds us it is there occasionally with steam events and huge increases in radiation levels. Across the Pacific, we have at least two peer-reviewed scientific studies so far that have already provided evidence of increased mortality in North America, and thyroid problems in infants on the west coast states from our initial exposures.

    We have increasing contamination of the food chain, through bioaccumulation and biomagnification. And a newly stated concern is the proximity of melted fuel in relation to the Tokyo aquifer that extends under the plant. If and when the corium reaches the Tokyo aquifer, serious and expedient discussions will have to take place about evacuating 40 million people from the greater metropolitan area. As impossible as this sounds, you cannot live in an area which does not have access to safe water.

    The operation to begin removing fuel from such a severely damaged pool has never been attempted before. The rods are unwieldy and very heavy, each one weighing two-thirds of a ton. But it has to be done, unless there is some way to encase the entire building in concrete with the pool as it is. I don’t know of anyone discussing that option, but it would seem much ‘safer’ than what they are about to attempt…but not without its own set of risks.

    And all this collateral damage will continue for decades, if not centuries, even if things stay exactly the way they are now. But that is unlikely, as bad things happen like natural disasters and deterioration with time…earthquakes, subsidence, and corrosion, to name a few. Every day that goes by, the statistical risk increases for this apocalyptic scenario. No one can say or know how this will play out, except that millions of people will probably die even if things stay exactly as they are, and billions could die if things get any worse."

The area immediately around Fukushima is already permanently uninhabitable, and the truth is that a much wider area of northern Japan should probably be declared off limits for human habitation.

But this just isn’t about Japan.  The cold, hard reality of the matter is that this is truly a disaster that is planetary in scope.  The nuclear material from Fukushima is going to be carried all over the northern hemisphere, and countless numbers of people are going to become seriously ill as a result.

And remember, this is a disaster that is not even close to being contained yet.  Hundreds of tons of radioactive water continues to enter the Pacific Ocean every single day making the disaster that we are facing even worse.

The Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster has been the second most serious crisis of a nuclear power plant in the human history[*]. The release period lasted over two months emitting a significant amount of radioiodine, radioxenon and radiocaesium as well as other isotopes such as plutonium. Besides the local to regional scale impacts of soil and water pollution, isotopes released into the atmosphere could be measured globally. Total atmospheric release was estimated to be 14000–15300 PBq of radioxenon and 340–800 PBq of other isotopes. The radioactive plume in the atmosphere moved towards the Pacific, reached North America in five days and Europe in eight days… Fukushima-derived radioiodine and radiocaesium could be identified in the entire Northern Hemisphere… The zonal jet stream transported the plume across North America within one day in a narrow band over the Northern USA. This line as well as further Fukushima-derived plumes arriving at the West Coast were the initial state of the regional dispersion dominated by low and middle tropospheric winds. Early detections were reported between 17 and 19 March from three stations in Central and Southern USA: Ashland, KS, Chapel Hill, NC and Melbourne, FL. Kansas and North Carolina were reached by a fast moving cold front at the detection time, however, Florida was dominated by a subtropical high pressure system until 21 March. The plume arrived to Orlando, FL, located in a distance of 100 km from Melbourne, FL, only on 25 March with a much lower peak concentration. Other North American stations reported arrival times between 20 and 25 March except those located at the zonal jet stream path. During this period, the homogenization was driven by fast moving low pressure systems with strong horizontal and vertical turbulence as well as precipitation. These effects resulted in fast transport and dilution of the pollutants with arrival times ranging only 5 days but peak concentrations between 0.44 and 31.08 mBq m−3 for particulate 131I… The large regional variability of peak concentrations within the USA was captured, and model results remained in the same order of magnitude with measurements with the exception of two extremely large peaks in Utah and Indiana.

Nu er den næsten tilbage på normalt niveau.Fem år efter et kraftigt jordskælv og en efterfølgende atomulykke ramte Japan er der godt nyt på vej.Den radioaktive stråling i Stillehavet, der efter ulykken var tårnhøj, er nu næsten tilbage på et normalt niveau. Det viser en rapport fra Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research, som er et globalt samarbejde mellem havforskere. Det kraftige undersøiske jordskælv ramte det nordøstlige Japan 11. marts 2011. Rystelserne udløste en tsunami og et nedsmeltet atomkraftværk i byen Fukushima. I forsøget på at nedkøle kraftværket blev en stor mængde havvand forurenet. Og i dagene efter var den radioaktive stråling ti millioner gange højere end normalen.Det betød, at omkring halvdelen af fiskene ud for kysten var radioaktive i 2011.
- Men i 2015 var det antal faldet til under en procent over grænsen, siger professor Pere Masque, Edith Cowan University i Australien. Han er en af forfatterne bag rapporten. Katastrofen medførte, at alle Japans snesevis af atomreaktorer blev lukket ned i to år.Men regeringen har presset på og fået genstartet flere af reaktorerne. Den hævder, at det ressourcefattige land har brug for atomkraften.

At loss for more than 6 years now about what to do with the tanks of toxic matter left over from the 2011 disaster, local fishermen are furious, warning the release could kill the fishing industry there, an industry already hurting for 6+ years due to the disaster itself.

And while the Japanese government continues to hide pertinent information about radiactive contamination due to Fukushima from the public in Japan, anybody who has been paying close attention to the information that has been censored coming from there knows that the situation is much worse than we're being officially told. And these latest planned releases of radioactive waste into the ocean will only hasten the 'mass animal death events' that we've been reporting upon on ANP for 3 years running now.

While the mainstream media and 'establishment' are more than happy to push 'global warming' in our faces at every opportunity that they get, the fact that they are utterly silent about what's been happening to the Pacific Ocean and the West coast to our oceans and the food chain there speaks to us much more loudly than their eternal, damning silence.

As we reported on ANP back on November 10th, nearly every day we're getting signs of a catastrophic collapse of the Pacific Ocean food chain coming to us from both the independent media and small, local news outlets and while at the moment, fish, birds, mammals and other ocean creatures are the ones paying the ultimate price, it may be only a matter of time before Fukushima's poisons make the next leap up the food chain and begin killing more people than it already has.

For those who have forgotten, soon after the 2011 disaster, the US Navy sent numerous aid ships to Japan and as this March of 2016 story from Stars and Stripes reported, 16 US ships which participated in the relief efforts are STILL contaminated with low levels of radiation, nearly 7 years later! And while a US Appeals Court recently ruled that 318 US sailors sickened by the radiation can sue the government of Japan and TEPCO for injuries caused, such a ruling does little good for the families of those sailors who have already died due to their exposure to Fukushima's poisons.

And with the story of the USS Ronald Reagan and more than 500 sailors sickened underscoring the dangers that Fukushima's poisons pose to humans, we have to ask, how many other people have acquired deadly mysterious illnesses since then with no adequate explanation coming to them from doctors or medical health practitioners?

De målte mængder er ganske uskadelige. Det understreger Steen Hoe fra Beredskabsstyrelsens nukleare beredskab.

- Det er korrekt, at I-131 er et radioaktivt stof, men når det handler om så små mængder som i dette tilfælde, er det uproblematisk for mennesker, dyr og miljøet. Og det er ikke meget usædvanligt, at vi ser sådanne øgede niveauer, siger Steen Hoe.

Concerns Grow About A Nuclear "Incident" In Europe After Spike In Radioactive Iodine Levels

Concerns about a potential, and so far unsubstantiated, nuclear "incident", reportedly in the vicinity of the Arctic circle, spread in the past week after trace amounts of radioactive Iodine-131 of unknown origin were detected in January over large areas in Europe according to a report by the Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety, the French national public expert in nuclear and radiological risks. Since the isotope has a half-life of only eight days, the detection is an indication of a rather recent release. As the Barents Observer adds, "where the radioactivity is coming from is still a mystery."

The air filter station at Svanhovd - located a few hundred meters from Norway’s border to Russia’s Kola Peninsula in the north - was the first to measure small amounts of the radioactive Ionide-131 in the second week of January. Shortly thereafter, the same Iodine-131 isotope was measured in Rovaniemi in Finnish Lapland. Within the next two weeks, traces of radioactivity, although in tiny amounts, were measured in Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, France and Spain.

Norway was the first to measure the radioactivity, but France was the first to officially inform the public about it.

"Iodine-131 a radionuclide of anthropogenic origin, has recently been detected in tiny amounts in the ground-level atmosphere in Europe. The preliminary report states it was first found during week 2 of January 2017 in northern Norway. Iodine-131 was also detected in Finland, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, France and Spain, until the end of January", the official French Institute de Radioprotection et de Süreté Nucléaire (IRSN) wrote in a press release.

A recently-retired top scientist from the America’s National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has accused his superiors of fudging data to hide a slowdown in the rise of global temperatures ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference in 2015.

Secondly, please pass on to ZAP concerning Fukushima that ZAP has been told some items that are not true. As a nuclear physicist, my understanding is that the rods in the reactor at Fukushima has already melted together which is why no one can shut down the system. The reactor is experiencing what we call the "China Syndrome", meaning that the core, totally uncontrollable, is melting its way through the earth. The deeper it goes the more "earth currents it is exposed to and the nuclear material will experience a transformation and become non-nuclear. Between now and then is the question as to how much contamination will occur.
A "prompt critical" nuclear reaction seems very unlikely. Our off-world friends may have to intervene in this case as they are directed to earth stability. What you shared ( I knowth not whence this info came to you) will just scare the bajeeses out of folks and that is just not the best energy to promote. The situation at Fukushima is extremely dangerous but no boom-booms. The solution is at hand.

The death of Nicolas opened the path for the liberation of Japan. This is being followed by the liberation of Germany.
