Police have raced to Barnsley town centre amid the terrifying reports an armed woman is running around the streets.
Shoppers are reportedly being ushered into shops for refuge as the dramatic incident unfolds in the south Yorkshire town.
One witness claimed the woman was "shouting in Arabic", carrying a "large knife" and "trying to stab everyone near traders stalls".
The passer-by also claims the woman was with another woman and a man who "were carrying machetes".
South Yorkshire Police have confirmed a "serious incident", tweeting: "BREAKING: There is a high visibility police presence in #Barnsley town centre this morning (Saturday 8 September) responding to a serious incident.
"More information will follow. Public are asked to be vigilant and report any concerns to 101."
A local radio station has tweeted: "Take care if heading to Barnsley town centre, a woman loose with a knife, shoppers are taking refuse (sic) in shops which have been locked down, police in attendance."
New reports are emerging the woman was arrested by police at the town's bus station, but that two other people are still on the run.
According to official FBI reports, 9 cell phone calls were made from passengers in the hijacked jetliners on 9/11. This clip from Massimo Mazzucco’s ‘September 11 – The New Pearl Harbor’ systematically and scientifically demonstrates how in 2001, it was technologically impossible for these calls to have occurred while the planes were in flight, as reported. A Japanese TV experiment seen here using cell phones from the three main carriers at the time proved that such calls could not have been made from altitudes above 10,000 feet – in some cases, at thousands of feet less than that.
That the calls were made, however is not in debate. This suggests that the planes may have been diverted and landed somewhere and the passengers forced to make scripted statements to their loved ones. Evidence in the recorded calls indicates this could have been the case.
