Søndagsavisen gjorde sig sidste år den umage at afdække hvor meget danskere med forskellige indkomster betaler i skat og afgift. Konklusionen var at en helt almindelig dansker betaler over halvdelen af sine indtægter til det offentlige gennem skatter og afgifter. Det er også værd at nævne at selv folk med små indtægter betaler en meget stor andel til det offentlige.. |

There’s something not quite right about humanoid robots. They are cute up to a point, but once they become a bit too realistic, they often start to creep us out – a foible called the uncanny valley. Now Facebook wants robots to climb their way out of it.

Researchers at Facebook’s AI lab have developed an expressive bot, an animation controlled by an artificially intelligent algorithm. The algorithm was trained on hundreds of videos of Skype conversations, so that it could learn and then mimic how humans adjust their expressions in response to each other. In tests, it successfully passed as human-like.

To optimise its learning, the algorithm divided the human face into 68 key points that it monitored throughout each Skype conversation. People naturally produce nods, blinks and various mouth movements to show they are engaged with the person they are talking to, and eventually the system learned to do this too.

The bot was then able to look at a video of a human speaking, and choose in real time what the most appropriate facial response would be. If the person was laughing, for example, the bot might choose to open its mouth too, or tilt its head.

The Facebook team then tested the system with panels of people who watched animations that included both the bot reacting to a human, and a human reacting to a human. The volunteers judged the bot and the human to be equally natural and realistic......[READ MORE]

Dengang lovede statens mediehus bod og bedring, hvilket blandt andet skulle have medført indskrækninger i medarbejderes forbrug..

Faldet kommer efter, at den tidligere storejer - den amerikanske investeringsbank Goldman Sachs - endnu engang har solgt ud af aktierne i energiselskabet.

Nu ejer investeringsbanken kun 2 procent af Dong-aktierne og vil i slutningen af 2017 slet ikke være ejer, vurderer investeringsøkonom i Nordnet, Per Hansen:

'Når kapitalfonde går ind og investerer i virksomheder, har de en typisk ejertid på 4-7 år. Goldman Sachs ejerskab ligger under gennemsnittet for den slags, men også under de forventninger, der var til deres engagement i Dong.'

75 procent spin

Per Hansen kalder det 75 procent spin, da man fra politikeres side understregede investeringsbankens langsigtede perspektiv med at udbygge den vedvarende energi.

'Jeg er ikke overrasket over den hurtige tilbagetrækning. Goldman Sachs er jo kendte for denne type hurtige investeringer med store fortjenester til følge. Det var en tåbelig administration af fælles værdier,' siger finansordfører for Enhedslisten, Pelle Dragsted til 24syv Morgen.

Goldman Sachs har høstet en stor milliardgevinst i det statslige selskab Dong, der i 2014 købte en ejerandel på 19 procent for otte milliarder kroner.
