Premature babies in the United Kingdom now have unlikely companions to keep them company: Adorable, crocheted octupuses.

All premature babies in the NICU at Poole Hospital in Dorset, England will receive an 8-legged, cuddly companion to keep them company while they work on getting strong enough to live and breathe on their own.

Research from Denmark claims that toy octopuses help premature babies, because squeezing their tentacles led to better breathing (which in turn leads to better oxygen levels and more regular heartbeats).

“One of the nurses brought in the octopus and explained about the idea. The girls absolutely love them. When they are asleep they hold onto the tentacles tightly,” said Kat Smith, whose premature twins Jasmine and Amber are currently in the hospital. “Normally they would be in the womb and would play with the umbilical cord so the octopuses make them feel grounded and safe. They really are beautiful.”

If you want to help, you can make octopuses yourself to send to the newborn babies.

You can find the octopus pattern here. Just be sure the tentacles aren’t more than 8.6 inches long, and that they’re made from 100% cotton. Then you can send them to the maternity ward at Poole Hospital and help some beautiful babies.

Samsung Warns Customers Not to Discuss Personal Information In Front of Smart TVs

Samsung has confirmed that its “smart TV” sets are listening to customers’ every word, and the company is warning customers not to speak about personal information while near the TV sets.

The company revealed that the voice activation feature on its smart TVs will capture all nearby conversations.

The TV sets can share the information, including sensitive data, with Samsung as well as third-party services.

The news comes after Shane Harris at The Daily Beast pointed out a troubling line in Samsung’s privacy policy:

A Region On Mars With Recent Water Is About To Get Major Attention

Researcher Dr. Mary Bourke from Trinity College Dublin have discovered a patch of land in an ancient valley in Mars’ Lucaya Crater that appears to have held water in the not-too-distant past, making it a prime target to search for past life forms on the Red Planet. Signs of water past and present pop up everywhere on Mars from now-dry, wriggly riverbeds snaking across arid plains to water ice exposed at the poles during the Martian summer.

A valley lined with sand dunes crosses the southern floor of the 21-mile-wide Lucaya Crater, located at latitude 11° south and longitude 52° east on Mars. Striations found between the dunes may have been created by recent water flows. The box shows the area pictured in the close up above. On Earth, Bourke had done previous studies of dunes in the Namib Desert near Walvis Bay, Namibia and noted “arctuate striations” — crusty arcs of sand cemented by water and minerals — on the surfaces of migrating sand dunes using photos taken by satellite. She subsequently assembled a team to check them out on the ground and discovered that the striations resulted when dune materials had been chemically cemented by salts left behind by evaporating groundwater.

“On Earth, desert dune fields are periodically flooded by water in areas of fluctuating groundwater, and where lakes, rivers and coasts are found in proximity,” said Bourke. These periodic floods leave tell-tale patterns behind them.” Once the material had been cemented, it hardens and remains behind as the dunes continue to migrate downwind.

Compare these cemented arctuate striations between dunes near Walvis Bay, Namibia with those in Lucaya Crater’s valley in the earlier image. White arrows highlight particularly prominent examples. Climate modification researcher Dane Wigington points out the phenomenon called “weather whiplash,” where it is hot one day and snowing the next, as it did recently in New York. Wigington says this is all being covered up to keep the public in the dark for as long as they can. Wigington says, “We have the paid liars, and I wish I could use a more diplomatic term. For example, The Weather Channel is owned by the corporate power structure. . . . We have the foxes running the hen house. We have people at The Weather Channel trying to explain away the completely engineered weather as natural. At this point, can we call them anything but paid liars? With “weather whiplash,” people should understand that something is radically wrong in New York when more than a week ago, we went from record shattering high temperatures to snow in less than 24 hours. . . . This kind of “weather whiplash” can only be created by climate engineering.”

In closing, Wigington says, “We are facing converging cataclysms. When people focus on jobs, economy and retirement, how much will any of that matter if we have a planet that doesn’t support life? If we lose our habitat and every breath we take is full of toxic heavy metal that is making us sicker and dumber by the day . . . . And my only goal is to bring this issue to light and to a halt. We know we have major collusion between all the major powers in the world on this issue. The single biggest leap we can take in the right direction is to expose and stop weather engineering which is weather warfare, and stop these programs (commonly known as chemtrails) in their tracks.”

As we begin the 5th week of the presidency of Donald Trump, we're witnessing something we've never openly seen before in modern US history as parts of the 'deep state' goes to war with a sitting president voted into office by the American people according to this recent story from Patrick Buchanan. As we reported on ANP, some believe that such a 'deep state declaration of war' upon President Trump is also a 'declaration of war' upon the 'completely free' American people who voted him into office.

According to civil rights expert and prominent 1st Amendment Supreme Court lawyer Jay Sekulow, Barack Obama himself should 'be held accountable' for the 'soft coup' attempt we're now witnessing against President Trump. Has our former president committed sedition and treason? As Jeremiah Johnson reports over at SHTFPlan, the deep state, whether 'left' or 'right' is one in the same, tyranny: Their goal is the enslavement and complete control of all of mankind.

Will we soon see "who REALLY rules the United States" asks this story from the Free Beacon recently picked up by Zero Hedge?
