It’s always interesting and a time of high learning to find oneself in what looks like a scam.
We seldom know we’ve been scammed. Very few scammers own it. Events usually reveal it.
In the case in point, the scam was that President Obama was removed from office, replaced by House Speaker Paul Ryan.
A journalist friend emailed us almost immediately to detail the events that President Obama attended that day or had on his calendar, which had not been cancelled.
He also reported that Paul Ryan was in California attending the funeral of Nancy Reagan, uncharacteristic of a person newly installed as President in a setting that was unpredictably chaotic and dangerous.
(Many readers may not have seen the original article which we took down as soon as the flaws in it were pointed out.)
What happens when we’re scammed? I got to see. The first impulse is self-serving: to cover our butt.
The strategies then used are to plead ignorance, blame someone else, defend our record, justify our own journalistic practices, etc.

Mainstream Academia/Media Attacks “Conspiracy Theorists”: Ignore Compelling Info, Focus on Irrational Sounding Things - March 10, 2016

Another hit was recently attempted on the rising culture of educated
people: people educated about “conspiracies.” Mainstream academic
institution the University of Kent published a study claiming that
conspiracy theorists tend to be narcissistic.
A Daily Mail article sports the headline “Believe in conspiracy theories? You’re probably a narcissist: People who doubt the moon landings are more likely to be selfish and attention-seeking.”
Right: the University of Kent experts have really pinned down the root psychological machinations of a conspiracy theorist.
Like other recent attacks on “conspiracy theorists” in mainstream academia, they associate “moon landing conspiracy theories” with all kinds of other historically proven, irrefutably true facts.
The article tries to paint these people as absurd, saying “Do you think the moon-landings were faked, vaccines are a plot for mind control, or that shadowy government agencies are keeping alien technology locked up in hidden bunkers?”
Here are some irrefutable facts to put reality in perspective: from an article titled “Governments and Biowarfare: a Brief History”

– 1950: In an experiment to determine how susceptible an American city would be to biological attack, the U.S. Navy sprays a cloud of bacteria from ships over San Francisco. – 1965: Prisoners at the Holmesburg State Prison in Philadelphia are subjected to dioxin, the highly toxic chemical component of Agent Orange used in Viet Nam. – 1990: More than 1500 six-month-old black and Hispanic babies in Los Angeles are given an “experimental” measles vaccine that had never been licensed for use in the United States. – 1994: With a technique called “gene tracking,” Dr. Garth Nicolson at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX discovers that many returning Desert Storm veterans are infected with an altered strain of Mycoplasma incognitus, a microbe commonly used in the production of biological weapons. Hey Fellow Galacterians!!! I just got off the phone with my friend Mike Harris who works with Veterans Today, the highly regarded journal of online alternative news, often cited on these pages. I wanted to know if he really believed these incoming reports about the changes at the White House.
This is what Mike had to report:
Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was summoned to the White House where apparently President Obama presented evidence against him as a pedophile.
Scalia left the White House with envelopes containing photographs and evidence and was next confirmed by Harris’ sources (undisclosed by him) to arrive at the ranch in West Texas – only to be murdered the following day.
In fact it is said he was murdered by fellow pedophiles.
Mike said that according to his sources, there was no documentation nor was an autopsy performed on Scalia’s body to determine the cause of death.
Mike went on to say that Scalia was told to stop the spread of pedophiles – that they, The Feds, would go easy on him. They were crafting a deal with Scalia: that in return for his stepping down as a Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, and concurrent with identifying the pedophiles in his circles, he would be under governmental protection and entitled to receive better treatment and protection than is the norm for granting other criminals of that ilk. Instead, the pedophiles killed him… and a manhunt is on.

He described it as of "brilliant brightness" giving off as much light intensity as stadium lighting.
He said: "I have been involved in operating systems in the past and this thing was coherent light, it was salty to the eyes to look at, like looking at a laser that had been passed through a de-fraction grading or something of that nature.
"It was not a focussed laser, it was a defocussed laser.

FBI: Hitler Didn’t Die, Fled To Argentina – Stunning Admission
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — Argentina's president says that U.S. President Barack Obama will spend several days in a popular part of Patagonia during his trip to the South American country this month.
President Mauricio Macri made the comments to reporters Thursday in Bariloche, a visit televised by several local stations.
The town in southern Argentina is known for its lakes and snow-covered mountains.
Macri said Obama would "spend a few days" in Bariloche, but didn't provide more details. A spokeswoman at the U.S. Embassy in Argentina declined comment. A spokeswoman in Argentina's Foreign Ministry said she couldn't immediately comment.
Obama's visit to Argentina is planned for March 23-24. It was not immediately clear if the trip to Bariloche would be a vacation or if the official visit would be extended a few days.
