Then when re-questioned, he said he didn’t properly hear the question and “mistakes were made,” but more than likely he would have.
Bush’s administration engaged in a controversial policy called debaathification, which basically made most people who had ties to the old regime ineligible for government work under the new system. This created another reason for Iraqis to feel bitter towards the U.S. We dissolved their military, and in turn caused unemployment levels to rise. Saying they were bitter is an understatement.
This is the basis for why Ivy said what she said. She wasn’t wrong. It’s not just a little mistake was made here and there, it was just a total and complete mess. I could leave my children home alone with a bucket full of sharpies, glue, and glitter for an hour and the mess still wouldn’t be as nasty as what the Bush administration did for the American and even Iraqi people.

Bush was also quietly tried for war crimes and torture. Cheney, Rumsfeld, and other senior members of his administration were tried in Malaysia and found guilty. The Obama Administration, under the Geneva Convention Act is responsible to prosecute and follow up on these convictions, but they have chosen not to do so.
Which actually makes them accessories to the war crimes for knowing they are convicted and doing nothing to prosecute. These charges have been ignored. WikiLeaks also pointed out that the U.S. put pressure on Spain and Germany not to prosecute the Bush administration, and so far they haven’t. Francis Boyle has personally tried to get Bush prosecuted in Canada and Switzerland. So far, he’s eluded prosecution.
