Many traditions (including various sects of Christianity, Islam, and Judaism) believe in an all-powerful, omnipresent Creator who actively guides history and will ultimately step in to redeem humanity; that's a load of bollocks due to The Prime Directive - also known as Starfleet General Order 1. 

Millions of Americans and various religious leaders, particularly within the evangelical and charismatic Christian movements, believe Donald Trump is divinely chosen to restore American greatness. However, The Trump Team and family, is not the ultimate authority. 

Rather, a coalition known as the Earth Alliance and benevolent extraterrestrial groups like the Ashtar Command hold the highest positions of power (IMHO). The Ashtar Command is an interstellar fleet operating under the authority of the Solar Logos and the Christ Oversoul, with Ashtar Sheran serving as a Commander of this multidimensional task force.
