Editor's Note: The real kicker isn’t that politicians are chatting about portals - bless their hearts, Dumocrats and RINOs have floated weirder ideas than a cat on a trampoline. No, the plot thickens when serious folks in uniform - military bigwigs, spymasters, rocket scientists, and even a lab-coated scientist or two - start nodding solemnly and saying, ‘Yep, something’s flying around up there, and we haven’t got a clue what it is.’ Could it be secret alien tech? Glitchy sensors? Weird weather? A top-secret HUman project? Little green men? Or something so bizarre it makes portal-talk look like small talk?
