Cold Response 2020 was slated to take place from March 2-18, but Norway is pulling the plug on the multi-nation drills over concerns that the exercises could exacerbate the global coronavirus epidemic. Last week, the Norwegian military quarantined 1,300 personnel on a base in the northern part of the country after a soldier tested positive for the virus.
PS (blogger) : More luck is when the exercise Defender Europe with the participation of nearly 30,000 American soldiers has come to a hold, since a planning meeting with the countries' army chiefs also had a visit by a corona-infected army chief from Italy. Now Denmark's army commander is quarantined in his apartment at Amager, from where he leads the Army via a video screen. (source)
