Jocelyn Bell Burnell, the astrophysicist who discovered pulsars as a postgraduate student, is now in her 70s. She tends her garden. She collects poetry with an astronomical theme. She also campaigns tirelessly for the involvement and recognition of women in science, and loves to share her intellectual passions by any means at hand.

At 11.30 am on Sunday, she joins an orchestra in London to explore our relationship with the cosmos.
