Is it a coincidence that the shooting took place in Antioch? I think not! Antioch in Biblical times was and still is important to Christianity. It was there that the Disciples were first called Christians!
Acts 11:26 “And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.”
It was where the Apostle Paul confronted Peter for law keeping, namely Circumcision
Galatians 2:11 “But when Peter was come to Antioch, I withstood him to the face, because he was to be blamed.”
The Apostle Paul was persecuted there and the lord delivered him in Antioch
2nd Timothy 3:11 “Persecutions, afflictions, which came unto me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.”
