In this process, several officials have been sent on leave, while contractors have been fired. Since the Trump administration imposed a freeze on foreign assistance, the website of the independent government agency went offline.

Trump has been the most critical of USAID, and said that it had been run by a bunch of radical lunatics. “We are getting them out,” he said.

Evidence is emerging that during the past eight years, Soros, his Open Societies Foundations (OSF), and their many smaller affiliates have received U.S. taxpayer money through USAID, and that USAID has made the OSF the main implementer of its aid,” the report said.
