Suk – det bliver reelt mere og mere grufuldt at være vidne til. På den ene side er det selvfølgelig personligt en stor trøst, at Sundhedsstyrelsen og jeg har været enige fra starten. Så langt så godt. Men det er selvfølgelig for landet en massiv katastrofe, at Mette Fredriksen og regeringen åbenlyst sad anbefalingerne overhøring.

En aktindsigt som BT har fremskaffet viser nemlig, at Søren Brostrøm 7 timer før Mette Frederiksen egenhændigt valgte at lukke landet d. 11.3 decideret frarådede at lukke landet. Og det med god ret. Alligevel lukkede hun landet. Og alligevel sagde Mette Frederiksen, at “myndighederne anbefalede nedlukning”. Hvilket nu står tydeligt IKKE at være sandt. Fra NOST ved vi også, at de heller ikke anbefalede nedlukning. En meget alvorlig sag for Mette Frederiksen som efter alt at dømme har løjet over for befolkningen og folketinget. Men endnu værre for landet og den katastrofe, som regeringen førte os ud i.

Jeg er nødt til at opsummere – bare for god ordens skyld – hvad vi lægefagligt så (og siden blev bekræftet i) allerede i starten af marts.

1. Covid19 var en smitsom sygdom – som primært smittede gennem nære relationer. Så et stykke hen ad vejen kunne man argumentere for, at vi IKKE skulle tilbringe endnu mere tid med nære relationer og at det potentielt kunne øge smitten.
2. Vi havde et udbrud af Covid19 – men allerede 11.3 kunne vi se, at udbruddet IKKE udviklede sig dramatisk herhjemme og 15.3 var det tydeligt, at tallene procentuelt var dalende.
3. En epidemi med et sådan forkølelseslignende virus ville IKKE kunne udvikle sig til en massiv epidemi så sent på året. Vi ved fra andre corona-former, at der er sæsonvariation, ligesom der er for de fleste andre lignende virusudbrud. Vores sæson for den type epidemier her i Danmark er omkring slut januar og februar. Men ikke med ´opløb´ hen i marts. Det er for sent på året. Det viste sig jo også at være tilfældet og den nedadgående procentuelle kurve faldt og faldt. Selv da landet blev åbnet op, fortsatte kurven støt og roligt nedad og det bekræftede jo i sig selv, at nedlukningen INGEN positiv effekt havde haft. Overhovedet.
4. Foråret og sommeren ville være vores ven ifht at undgå større epidemi.
5. Proportionalitetsprincippet gjorde, at man sagtens kunne gøre rigtigt meget for at dæmme op for smitten UDEN at lukke landet og nedlukningen var af mange grunde HELT ude af proportioner.
6. Nedlukningen ville få store menneskelige og økonomiske konsekvenser, og ville have betydning for alvorligt syges behandling og udredning. Det viste sig også at blive sandheden og mere end 35.000 operationer blev aflyst og udskudt. Nok reelt langt, langt flere. Herudover selvfølgelig konkurser, fyringer med al den medfølgende smerte og sociale deroute.
