When you think of spirituality, ascension and consciousness, I bet Hollywood megastar Jim Carrey is far from the first person that comes to mind.
But it seems like the brilliant actor has been through quite some life journey and came out a different man, and here we are now waiting for the next great piece of advice he has to share with us.
Feeling surprised, to say at least, is inevitable. Jim, whose recent bizarre appearance on the red carpet took the world by storm, seems like he has completely rediscovered and reinvented himself as a human being.
He will definitely blow your mind open to what he has to say about this complicated, fun, difficult, and beautiful thing we call the human experience:
Can’t you see this is a trap that our ego is carefully guiding us to the need to be important, to be someone, to matter. Eventually, creating this identity that we identify with bring us nothing but pain, and for three reasons:
∼One, it introduces a separation between us and all other beings that dishonour our inherent, interconnected nature.
∼Two, it deludes us into thinking that things are not supposed to change—that we are not supposed to change.
∼Three, it leads us away from resting in our own basic goodness, as it makes us feel that we aren’t enough just as we are, right now.
