Scientists have created a new hydrogel material reinforced with fibres that they say is up to five times harder to break than carbon steel – but still easy to bend and stretch.

That combination of properties means the new fabric could be used as the basis for artificial ligaments and tendons designed to help the body heal – or in manufacturing or fashion where a very tough but elastic material is needed.

Researchers from Hokkaido University in Japan developed the fabric, called fibre-reinforced soft composite(or FRSC), by combining hydrogels containing high levels of water with glass fibre fabric.

"The material has multiple potential applications because of its reliability, durability and flexibility," says one of the researchers, Jian Ping Gong.

Putting two natural materials together to combine their properties is a trick people have been pulling off for a very long time – straw and mud go together to make bricks, and paper and glue gives you papier-mâché.

The idea is you end up with a new super-material that combines the best parts of both your source materials.

The scientists set out to create a substance that could bear heavy loads and was also very fracture-resistant, taking the best characteristics of hydrogels, but adding extra durability and toughness through the glass fibre fabric.

A £1 million ($1.25mn) taxpayer funded child abuse investigation into former Prime Minister Sir Edward Heath has been closed by police, reportedly due to a lack of evidence.

The inquiry, codenamed Operation Conifer, will be closed in the coming weeks, but the report on its findings will remain confidential, the Telegraph reports.

The huge bill has been criticized as a waste of taxpayer money since it was launched in August of 2015. Police have also been slammed for damaging the reputation of the late ex-PM, who cannot go on trial.

According to sources who spoke to the newspaper, private investigators that were hired by police to help conduct the inquiry have been told that their contracts will not be renewed.

“The inquiry is coming to an end. The contracts are up and have not been renewed, even though there was an option to do that,” the source said.... [READ MORE]

That is why the talk of US government functions shutting down on March 15th as the US $20 trillion debt limit was reached failed to materialize. The debt belonged to the Corporation, not the Republic. The Corporation has been declared bankrupt and the debt null and void, multiple sources agree. That is because United States Corporation Secretary of State and slave to Corporation top shareholder David Rockefeller Jr. Rex Tillerson failed in his effort to get funding for it in Asia last week, Asian secret society sources say.

Japanese imperial family sources say Rockefeller bagman Henry Kissinger showed up with Rex Tillerson and both threatened the Imperial family in a failed effort to get them to cash a bogus 4京(kei) yen (40 trillion dollar) World Bank bond so that they could keep the US Corporation going and place their flunky Ichiro Ozawa as Prime Minister of Japan. Ozawa is despised in Japanese government circles and will not be allowed near the Prime Minister’s office so the request was denied, Japanese right wing sources say.

However, the US military is determined to get rid of current Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Finance Minister Taro Aso, who blocked the deal, because they are desperate for funds to keep their international operations going. That is why they are flooding the Japanese media with stories exposing Abe’s scandals. Abe represents a faction of extreme right wingers who wanted to start a war with China and so is definitely tainted goods as well and will likely be removed.

There are ongoing discussions over exactly who to replace Abe with and the White Dragon Society is recommending the relatively clean and competent Hideo Higashikokubaru as an interim Prime Minister who would represent the consensus of the Japanese bureaucracy and other power brokers. Asian secret society sources, for their part, say there is no alternative to Abe at present and so he must be given a new script to read. The discussions are ongoing.

The Rothschilds and the Rockefellers also tried to keep themselves from going bankrupt by taking over North Korea. North Korea is the location of a vast treasure of...........

A few months ago, I freed myself from the standard-procedure society. I broke the chains of fear that kept me locked up into the system. Since then, I see the world from a different perspective: the one that everything is going through change and that most of us are unaware of that.

Why is the world changing? In this post, I’ll point out the eight reasons that lead me to believe it.

1. No one can stand the employment model any longer

People working with big corporations can’t stand their jobs. The lack of purpose knocks on your door as if it came from inside you like a yell of despair. People want out. They want to drop everything and run. Take a look at how many people are willing to risk entrepreneurship, how many people are leaving on sabbaticals, and how many people are suffering with work-related depression, and burnout. We are reaching our limits.

2. The entrepreneurship model is also changing

The vortex of entrepreneurship was once to find an investor and get funded — to be funded was like winning the World Cup or the Super Bowl. But what happens after you get funded? You get back to being an employee. You may have brought in people not sharing your dream, not in agreement with your purpose, and soon, it’s all about the money. The financial end becomes the main driver of your business. People are suffering with it. Excellent startups began to tumble because the money-seeking model is endless.

A new way to endeavor is needed — and good people are doing it already. Over the past few years, with the explosion of startups, thousands of entrepreneurs have turned their garages into offices, to bring their world-changing, billion-dollar ideas to life.

3. The rise of collaboration over competition

Eksporten af varer faldt i januar 2017 og bidrog til et fald i overskuddet på varer på 3,1 mia. kr. Derimod steg eksporten af tjenester 2,8 mia. kr.. 117 milliarder kroner - så stort var Danmarks overskud på betalingsbalancen i Jan 2017. At betalingsbalancen har kunnet sætte rekord, skal så ses i lyset af, at de mange år med flotte overskud på betalingsbalancen har sikret et stort og stigende overskud på vores investeringer i udlandet. Det er således løn- og formueindkomst fra udlandet, som sikrer rekorden. Løn- og formueindkomst er til en vis grad en konsekvens af det høje omkostningsniveau herhjemme. Da mange virksomheder gennem de seneste år har valgt at investere uden for landets grænser, så kan de nu hjemføre betydelige overskud, men behovet for arbejdskraft i Danmark er følgelig mindre, så der er en bagside af denne ellers fine medalje, ifølge Steen Bocian, berlingske.. Ved udgangen 2016 var gælden på omtrent 650 milliarder, svarende til 32 procent af BNP. Nationalbanken viste en valutareserve på 466,6 milliarder kroner i Marts 2017. Nationalbanken styrer Danmarks finansielle ror og justerer pengepolitik, sikrer betalinger og stabiliserer, ikke sandt? Dog, er det således, at Danmarks nationalbank er på private hænder, ejet af et kartel af private banker, største aktionærer Rothschild. Bankklanens overhoved Rothschild reddede faktisk den danske stat, der i 1813 gennemførte en pengereform, som blandt liberalister siden blev kaldt 'statsbankerotten'. Dermed ejer Rothschild familien, DANMARK. Så vi kan faktisk ikke regne med, hverken hvad vores såkaldte valutareserver eller guldbeholdning, faktisk er, pålydende. Nationalbanken, er en selvejende institution, som er uafhængig af Folketing og regering i udformningen af pengepolitikken. I de seneste år har vi set USA kæmpe med sin gæld, resulterende i det meget omtalte mulige “United States fiscal cliff”. Specielt i Januar 2013, hvor USA stod overfor muligheden for et stats bankerot – hvor Senatet reddede Obama på målstregen med en forlængelse af den statslige aftale. Dette er ikke forhold vi vante til at se i Skandinavien – hvor vi år efter år, både ser positive handelsbalancer samt overskud på de offentlige budgetter... |

Der skrives historie, når den danske stat mandag afdrager sit sidste lån i udenlandsk valuta. Det skriver Finansministeriet i en pressemeddelelse.

Afviklingen af et lån på 1,5 milliarder dollar betyder nemlig, at den danske stat nu ikke længere har gæld i andre valutaer end i danske kroner. Det er første gang i mindst 183 år - eller siden 1834.

- Det er en historisk begivenhed, at Danmark nu er helt uden gæld i fremmed valuta. Det viser, hvor stor tillid vi har fået opbygget i udlandet til dansk økonomi og fastkurspolitikken, siger finansminister Kristian Jensen (V).

Lån i udenlandsk valuta bruges til at sikre en passende valutareserve.

I de senere år fra 2009 til 2011 steg valutareserven imidlertid kraftigt fra under 200 milliarder kroner til over 450 milliarder kroner. Med den nuværende valutareserve har det ikke været nødvendigt at tage nye lån i fremmed valuta.

Den seneste opgørelse fra Nationalbanken viste en valutareserve på 466,6 milliarder kroner i marts.

Selv om staten ikke skylder udenlandsk valuta, er den stadig langt fra gældfri, skriver Ritzau Finans.

Ved udgangen 2016 var gælden på omtrent 650 milliarder, svarende til 32 procent af bruttonationalproduktet.

Omkring 40 procent, eller i størrelsesordenen 260 milliarder kroner, skylder staten til udenlandske investorer.

Det første danske statslån i udenlandsk valuta blev optaget i 1757, hvor staten lånte, hvad der svarede til en halv million rigsdaler i Hamburg og Amsterdam.

Siden fulgte en periode frem til 1834 med ufuldstændige data. Det betyder, at det ikke kan udelukkes, at staten på et tidspunkt var uden gæld i udenlandsk valuta i løbet af den periode.

- Man kan dog med sikkerhed fastslå, at Danmark ikke siden 1834 har været uden gæld i udenlandsk valuta, oplyser Finansministeriet.

A new study published in the journal Vaccine has brought to light an extremely disturbing though still virtually unreported dark side to immunization campaigns within low-income countries, namely, the observation that infant mortality sometimes increases when the number of co-administered vaccines increases; a finding diametrically opposed to the widely held belief that vaccination is always a life-saving intervention, and that the more vaccines administered to infants the better.

New Study Links DTP and Yellow Fever Vaccines To Infant Deaths

The new observational study from the West African country Guinea-Bissau titled, "Co-administration of live measles and yellow fever vaccines and inactivated pentavalent vaccines is associated with increased mortality compared with measles and yellow fever vaccines only,"[i] opens with a reference to the already consistent observation in the biomedical literature that the co-administration of inactivated diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis (DTP) vaccine and live attenuated measles vaccine (MV) increases mortality compared with receiving MV only. [ii] [iii]

The purpose of the new investigation was to determine whether co-administration of pentavalent vaccine (PV) with MV and yellow fever vaccine (YF) had similar negative effects. Both PV and YF vaccines were introduced in Guinea-Bissau in 2008, with PV containing 5 vaccine antigens in one shot (DTP-H. Influenza type B-Hepatitis B).

The study findings emerged from a randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial conducted in 2007-2011, where researchers administered vitamin A at routine vaccination contacts among children aged 6-23 months in urban and rural Guinea-Bissau. A total of 2331 children were randomized to placebo, receiving either live vaccines only (MV or MV+YF) or a combination of live and inactivated vaccines (MV+DTP or MV+YF+pentavalent).


When mortality was compared, the adjusted mortality rate ratio (MRR) for co-administered live and inactivated vaccines compared with live vaccines only was over three times greater (3.24 (1.20-8.73). When MV+YF+pentavalent was compared with MV+YF only, the adjusted MRR was almost eight times greater (7.73 (1.79-33.4)) for the combination of the three vaccines versus two.

The researchers concluded:

"In line with previous studies of DTP, the present results indicate that pentavalent vaccine co-administered with MV and YF is associated with increased mortality."
