[Originally published, May 2, 2006] In January 1994, I remember visiting the Jakarta office of Mr Irawan Abidin, the former Director of Foreign Information in the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I had just arrived from a two week field trip to the former Indonesian territory of East Timor researching alleged human rights abuses. I had found ample evidence of abuses through the traumatized testimonies of many East Timorese I had spoken with.

Mr Abidin assured me that systematic human rights abuses were not occurring in East Timor and that such claims were spurious accusations orchestrated by discontented Timorese expatriates who were the former ruling elite. I politely explained to him what I had been told in my fieldwork involving interviews with dozens of private citizens, but he insisted that such claims were gross exaggerations and people were basically content in East Timor. He handed me a Ministry publication to support his position and exhorted me to tell the world how content people were with Indonesian rule in East Timor.

In reading Steven Greer’s recent public statement, “Exopolitics or Xenopolitics” where he openly criticizes me as someone supporting xenophobic approaches to Exopolitics, I had a feeling of déjà vu with my earlier meeting with Mr Abidin concerning my research into alleged human rights abuses.

In his May 2 statement, Greer claims:

While there are certainly diverse opinions regarding why any given extraterrestrial civilization may wish to visit Earth at this time in our history, recent public comments by Michael Salla have added a virulent strain of fear-based xenophobia, based on the flimsiest of documentation.

Dr Greer further states:

He has maintained that a nefarious and injurious group of ETs have made a secret pact with covert humans – and have a harmful agenda towards the human race.” This, and more. The Disclosure Project has over 450 military, government and corporate insiders who have first-hand knowledge of actual UFO/ET events and projects. We find it odd that not a single one of these insiders can confirm the xenophobic rumors proffered by Salla.

I accept Dr Greer’s implicit invitation to engage in a public debate with him concerning the evidence supporting the diverse motivations and activities performed by extraterrestrial visitors. I think such a debate is healthy and can lead to greater cooperation between exopolitical researchers and activists who have long been polarized into mutually antagonist camps of those exclusively viewing extraterrestrials as benign visitors helping humanity evolve, and those generally viewing extraterrestrials as committing systematic human rights abuses.

I will avoid personalizing such a debate which can only be a distraction and focus only on the arguments offered by Dr Greer and myself in discussing the substantive issues raised in his public statement and my own public research.

DONALD Trump was bundled off stage by his security guards last night amid fears of a gunman at a  rally.

The 70-year-old was half an hour into a  speech when an audience member shouted: “He’s got a gun” and indicated a shaven-headed man in the crowd.

Two  suited secret service officers pulled the Presidential hopeful away from the microphone and rushing him backstage in  Reno, Nevada.

Other secret service agents  pinned the man, later identified as Reno-native and registered Republican Austyn Crites, to the floor. Crites, 33, was then manhandled out of the room as heavily-armed police officers flooded into the room. He has since been released.

A Secret Service spokesman later said that after a “thorough” search no gun was found in the venue or on the Crytes.

The upcoming months promise to be an exciting time upon your planet earth, with everyone attempting to bring their unique perspective and point of view to the surface. Enjoy the diversity, dear ones! Celebrate the fact that you are all not the same. It would be a bland world indeed if everyone thought, acted, and imagined life in the very same way. Diversity was designed into the very fabric of creation and your human race is indeed one of the most diverse species on the planet!

So how do you deal with people when you disagree, because in truth, you were not all meant to agree. Realize, first and foremost, that every soul – whether they are aware of it or not – wants to be acknowledged as having something worthwhile to say and something to contribute to the planet. Every soul, without exception, no matter how ill mannered or awkward, is attempting to bring love to the surface.

Listen to one another dear ones. Practice the art of truly trying to understand one another. You do not have to agree. You do not have to accept what anyone else says as your truth. You do not have to do what anyone else wants you to do. You simply are asked, at times, to give others the gift of compassionate listening. If you disagree with someone ask them, "I'd like to understand why you feel/believe what you do. I have a different opinion. Can you help me understand you better?" If you listen with politeness and a respect for your differences most people will grant you the same. If they do not, remain silent.

There is never a need to argue. There is never a need to be "right." You are already "right" in the Creator's eyes, for the growth you are choosing in this very moment! Everyone else is "right" for the growth their soul is choosing in the present moment.

So when you watch the news, your politics, etc., either listen with respect or turn away and listen to something else, for all souls are allowed their unique perspective and point of view. You are too.

Indeed all of you are embodiments of one beautiful Love. All of you, without exception, in your uniqueness and diversity, have a place within the vast and beautiful puzzle of creation. In much the same way that cells in the body must be diverse in order to fulfill their purpose and the greater purpose of the body, so too you must be diverse to fulfill you own unique purpose and lesson plan and as well, contribute to the growth of the entire body of the human race.

Time is passing faster than ever and matters upon Earth are gradually reaching a climax when its destiny must alter course. Out of the uncertainty will come a positive change, that will leave you in no doubt that Humanity is destined to step firmly on to the path to Ascension. There was never going to be any other outcome, as sufficient people have turned to the Light and raised their vibrations. Anything less would most likely have resulted in another abrupt ending to the Age that would be viewed as a disaster.

The few have made it possible by firmly holding on to their success in rising up into the higher vibrations. It is now simply a matter of maintaining that position until the level reached takes them into the higher dimensions. You call it Ascension, and a sign of your spiritual progress that has lifted you up out of the lower vibrations. Be assured that this time is rapidly approaching and events will confirm it to be true.

Many souls are stirring but time is limited that will enable them to lift up. However once the end times can be generally made known, they will jump ahead as the truth of this particular period becomes apparent. When matters can be brought out into the open, all souls will have the opportunity to follow the path to Ascension, but some will show little interest and their path will continue on another track.

A lot of old souls are really tired right now. The project Shift Earth has been lasting a few years too many and many feel that they are barely still standing while they crawl to the finish line.

Honor your Soul fatigue, but also don’t quit… ask the universe to recharge you and know that it will. Also ask for your field to be cleared and for your energy to be topped up at night, so that you can truly rest when you sleep. Many of us need the rejuvenation.

Also ask to be cleared of collective energy. While it is important for us to contribute to the collective field and stabilize it, we don’t have to carry the collective energy 24/7. A lot of chaos right now, some of it manufactured, so important to have clear fields and ongoing Source downloads, so we can contribute to the uplifting the energy, rather than being drowned by it.

Imagine the Source energy descending into your crown, spreading into your body, and recharging and uplifting every cell and molecule within you. And then see this energy descending to your root chakra, rooting into the ground and charging the Earth Core. See the energy then pulsing outwards, clearing and recharging the Earth field and its grids.

This is a very simple process, recharges you and boosts the vibration of both your self and the Earth. Very needed at this time to counter conflict and chaos energies.
