Former NATO chief Anders Fogh Rasmussen believes more global interventionism by the US is needed to achieve peace and prevent conflict. He says US needs to be “the world’s policeman” and criticizes outgoing President Obama for not having done enough.

The comments were delivered in an exclusive interview to Sky News, five days ahead of the US presidential election. Rasmussen, who headed the military alliance from 2009 to 2014, outlined his frustrations of serving during the Obama presidency.

"I think President Obama has been too reluctant to use military force or threaten to use military force to prevent conflicts in the world,” he said.

No matter who wins the White House, Rasmussen says the US has no choice either way but to continue down the path of interventionism. According to him, the above problems require “a world policeman to restore international law and order.”

"Superpowers don't get to retire. Look around, you will see a world on fire. Syria torn by war and conflict. Iraq on the brink of collapse. Libya a failed state in North Africa. Russia attacking Ukraine and destabilizing Eastern Europe. China flexing its muscles, the rogue state North Korea threatening nuclear attacks.” 

Rasmussen went on to express fears over the possibility of a Donald Trump presidency, saying: 

“We don’t know what will be the concrete polices” of his administration, “but if his statements were to be taken at face value, I consider it could be very dangerous for the world.”

Desuden var han altid travlt beskæftiget med planerne om at blive statsminister. I landsbyskolen kaldte de andre elever ham »statsministeren«. Som 17-årig meldte han sig ind i Venstres Ungdom. Som 19-årig blev han folketingskandidat. Og som 34-årig blev han skatteminister.
Efter folketingsvalget i 2001 blev han statsminister i VK-regeringen. Og strategien var klar. Håndfaste løfter, klare aftaler, stramme retningslinjer for ministrene og ingen pinlige kvajesager. Det sidste lykkedes ikke. I slutningen af oktober 2006 dykkede vælgertilslutningen til Venstre voldsomt i meningsmålingerne. Det fik Fjogh til at se spøgelser overalt. »Man kan nærmest sige, at han er blevet paranoid. Earlier this week it was revealed that U.S. President Obama held a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdo?an. The topic of the conversation was the Operation to liberate Mosul and a role that Turkey wants to play.

Let's ponder this for a second. Ever since the abortive putsch that appears to have been orchestrated by Erdo?an himself to consolidate power in July the Turks have taken on a more aggressive and ambitious policy towards the Syria conflict. They have even been cracking down against the PKK in Southeastern Turkey as well as the YPG, who operate within anarchic state known as Syria.

So why does Erdo?an want a role for Turkey in the Liberation of Mosul? The most cynical view is that Erdo?an is doing this in his effort to reestablish the Ottoman Empire and remove the stains of Sykes-Picot and other treaties. It cannot be denied that Ankara is a rising power in the region and is looking for opportunities to assert its influence. This presents a classic opportunity for Ankara to do something along this line.

Another view could be that He wishes to set up a buffer zone to guard against either an independent or autonomous Kurdish State. Looking at the topography of the region this idea has some merit. This region is where the Kurdish provinces of Iraq, Syria and Turkey come together. Turkish Policy has been to support the Iraqi Kurds, repress the Turkish Kurds and to recently launch airstrikes against the Syrians as they fight both Assad and ISIS.

And while we’re at it, make a note to do something in support of the NYPD officers who revealed the existence of the emails (Hilary and sex slavery, pedophilia, money laundering, and worse) on Anthony Wiener’s computer, that lie at the heart of the present scandal Steve discusses.

The emails have been confiscated by the FBI as part of a cover-up. Part of suppressing the truth contained in them would ordinarily be to eliminate the NYPD officers who handled the case.

However even the NY chief of police is standing firm and has made public the NYPD’s determination to release the incriminating evidence if the FBI does not promptly act by issuing indictments or tries to bury the matter.

The wider revolutionary action, as Steve describes it here, is being carried out by brave military and intelligence officers and veterans who are “sick and tired” of the corruption in their government.

I’m not sure how we expect news of this type to come to us. But we might consider that Steve Pieczenik’s announcement here is in fact the political announcement we’ve been waiting for.

Is the Reval coming right now more important than making the revolutionary but peaceful transition discussed here?

Not for me. The transition is more important. I can wait on the Reval (we’ve waited years already).

If we were to have the Reval first, currency exchangers might live in mortal dread that the “countercoup” that Steve discusses here was and is an attempt to claw back what we intend to use to benefit humanity. This way, that scenario is averted.

Steve shows that he knows the kind of crimes the Clinton Foundation are responsible for. He shows that he has the balance and centeredness to address us without subterfuge, manipulation, or polarity. He points to a peaceful transition. (3) Who could ask for more? I support it.

Let’s carry out the transition that Steve talks about here, get the place entirely cleaned up, and then have the Reval. I don’t think we’d be talking about anything more than a week or two added on.

I haven’t heard of a better initiative than Steve discusses. If it weren’t true, make it so, Number One.

What’s important now is to get the election suspended and the electoral process cleaned up. That’s a major plank in the NESARA platform accomplished right there. Once we start down the road to NESARA/GESARA, I don’t imagine things will move slowly.

I’d imagine that this is not solely an American phenomenon but that all the big events are gearing up to follow the fall of the Clinton branch of the Illuminati and eventually the rest of the Illuminati.

I’m ready.

Last point: This is not the first time that serving men and women of the American military and intelligence communities will have stood up to a corrupt government.

The U.S. Navy took the nuclear football away from President George Bush Jr. during the Georgian conflict.

Ranger divisions rebelled against training in terrain that clearly mimicked Iran rather than Iraq back in around 2007. Iran was a bridge too far for them.

The Navy has forced aircraft to land that were surreptitiously carrying cruise missiles to the Middle East. They (with help?) shot down nuclear missiles fired to start World War III.

The Navy pulled a silent coup on Northern Command, implicated in 9/11, winning control of NORAD and Solar Warden, the secret space fleet, as well.

There’ve always been men and women in the service ready to stand up to corruption wherever it’s found. Many have died in the course of it.

So please, in appreciation of them risking careers and lives, make this video viral.

I’m willing to wager that it signals the start of what we’ve all been waiting for – a peaceful transition from governments of corruption and criminality to governments of morality and well-being.

If it isn’t, the new powers that be can surely make use of such a useful initiative.

Vladimir Putin in particular, and Russia in general, have been the focus of an intensive high-drama propaganda campaign of late. Are you buying it? For the time being, Russophobia has replaced Islamophobia as the driving force behind the lies. Various US officials have been frantically warning Americans that the Russians are behind everything: hacking the DNC, controlling Trump, influencing the election and breaking the Syrian ceasefire agreement. They might as well add making your girlfriend break up with you, making your toast get burnt and making your car run out of fuel for all the evidence they have presented. Many of these totally unfounded allegations stem from (naturally) the Clinton campaign, home to career criminals Bill and Hillary Clinton, who are desperately seeking to find something to gain some sort of shred of popularity or advantage over Trump, who fills up arenas with 1000s of people more easily than Clinton can fill a high school gym with 50. Many US officials and war hawks are trying to get in on the action; CIA man Mike Morell indicated it would be a good idea to covertly kill Russians to make them “pay a price”; Hillary Clinton called Vladimir Putin the “grand godfather of extreme nationalism” and blamed him for the rising popularity of right-wing leaders; and even standing VP Joe Biden came out and said that, “We’re sending a message to Putin … it will be at the time of our choosing and under the circumstances that have the greatest impact”. It seems there is no depth to which some US leaders won’t stoop in order to gain some political advantage, even it means lying, demonizing and destroying geopolitical partnerships in order to garner a few brownie points.
