I maj bad hun forsvarschefen om at se på sagen og give hende en undskyldning, men den kommer ikke. Da der i maj faldt dom på 60 dages fængsel til den nu tidligere hærchef Hans-Christian Mathiesen for nepotisme og magtmisbrug, noterede Karin Reuss Iversen sig forsvarschefens reaktion. I en artikel på dr.dk sagde general Bjørn Bisserup, at der var brug for en »kulturændring« i Forsvaret, og at ingen medarbejdere skulle være bange for at stå frem. I have been watching events from afar but I was waiting for the right time to come back and provide a series of messages from the perspective that I currently have and also from the experiences which I had while I was on earth many years ago.
