Representative Jason Chaffetz, a Republican from Utah and chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee

A House panel on Tuesday approved legislation that would let a government watchdog audit the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy decisions, a move bitterly opposed by the central bank.

The House Committee on oversight and government reform passed the measure by voice vote after roughly 30 minutes of debate.

The bill was the brainchild of Ron Paul, the former House Republican and libertarian presidential candidate and sharp critic of the U.S. monetary policy. Versions of the bill have twice passed the House by wide margins but then stalled due to lack of support from Democrats in the Senate and the Obama administration.

Analysts said the measure has a better chance to become law now that Republicans control both houses of Congress and the White House. Paul’s son, Rand, the Republican senator from Kentucky, has introduced a similar measure in the Senate.

Democrats in the committee were firmly against the bill.

“This bill would open the floodgates to political interference in monetary-policy making,” said Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, a Democrat from the District of Columbia.

Rep. Carolyn Maloney, a Democrat from New York, said the measure would lead to higher interest rates because it would undermine the market’s confidence in the independence of the central bank.

Republicans said the measure was needed to rein in the Fed.

“It is ironic that the arsonists that caused the financial collapse are now being given credit...for putting out the fire. Almost every macroeconomist concedes in retrospect that [the Fed’s] extended period of easy money led to the financial crisis,” said Rep. Thomas Massie, a Republican from Kentucky.

Rinkeby has become one of the most notorious no-go zones in Sweden, if not all of Europe. The tiny urban community, which now has a population that consists almost entirely of 1st and 2nd generation immigrants, has been the site of multiple riots and countless acts of violence in recent years. It’s the place where a 60 minutes crew was attacked, and it was where a riot occurred last month after Trump commented on the dire immigration situation in Sweden. For all intents and purposes, Rinkeby, Sweden isn’t really a part of Sweden anymore.

However, the government still needs a presence in the city. Unfortunately the police station that currently resides in Rinkeby (which was closed in 2014) was designed for a much more peaceful community that no longer exists. So far the government has struggled to find contractors who are willing to build the facility. They’re all too afraid to enter Rinkeby. It would also be a real struggle to find cops who are willing to work at the station. The police are afraid to drive their personal vehicles there for fear that they would be vandalized, and public transportation is too dangerous for the officers. It’s been suggested that in addition to the cost of building the police station, the government may need to provide separate transportation for the police. And it should go without saying, no police officer could safely live in Rinkeby.

The construction of this facility provides the best evidence for why Europe’s immigration policies, as well multiculturalism in general, aren’t working. More importantly, it shows why these policies are unsustainable from a purely financial perspective. Immigrants who refuse to assimilate create a massive drain on public coffers. Not only are they a drain on Sweden’s welfare state, but Sweden has to spend millions of dollars hiring extra cops and building massive fortresses to protect the rest of their citizens.

Perhaps that’s why the people of Sweden are finally waking up to the reality of their situation.

Australian mandatory vaccines are ever closer to becoming a reality – or perhaps they already are. The Australian Government has decided that it’s No Jab, No Pay policy wasn’t quite fascist enough, so it has upped the ante by going one step further. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull is trying to forge a policy where parents with unvaccinated children will not be able to enroll them in public school! That’s right: it’s Australian vaccine fascism. No Jab, No Pay may also become No Jab, No Play if the PM and his Big Pharma wife, Lucy Turnbull, get their way. Let’s take a further look at the push for Australian mandatory vaccines, keeping in mind the horrendous history of vaccines, which have injured, sterilized, paralyzed and killed countless people all over the world.

The Independent reports in its article Unvaccinated children could be banned from attending preschool across Australia that Aussie PM Turnbull is pushing for Australian mandatory vaccines by making public education dependent upon vaccination rates:

“Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has written to state and territory leaders to push for nationally consistent laws to protect young children from disease.

He writes: “At our next Coag [Council of Australian Governments] meeting I propose we agree that all jurisdictions implement legislation that excludes children who are not vaccinated from attending childcare or preschool, unless they have a medical exemption.

“Vaccination objection is not a valid exemption. We must give parents the confidence that their children will be safe when they attend childcare and preschool.

“Parents must understand that if their child is not vaccinated they will be refused attendance or enrollment.””

When Turnbull writes “vaccination objection” above, he refers to what is known as the philosophical or religious objection or exemption, which is the right of the individual to refuse vaccination on the grounds that it goes against his or her philosophical (or religious) beliefs.

The cute phrase No Jab, No Play was used by Australian Federal Health Minister Greg Hunt. It sounds clever, however it disguises a horribly authoritarian objective of forcing parents to make the choice between poisoning their child with toxic vaccines or getting free public education – a choice which for most families would be very difficult given the high price of private education in Australia.....[READ MORE]

According to one family in the U.K., cannabis helped a dying teenage boy recover fully from complications from leukemia. The family recently appeared on the British talk show, This Morning, to discuss their experience.

Callie Blackwell’s son Deryn had been fighting leukemia followed by Langerhans cell sarcoma for four years — since the age of ten. Following doctors’ fourth and final attempt at a bone marrow transplant, they warned the family it was the last opportunity to save his life.

Though the surgery was successful, Deryn’s mother says he contracted an infection in the hospital. He grew extremely ill, and according to Callie, “He was literally being kept alive by antibiotics. That’s what they told us.” Doctors estimated he had three days to a week left to live following the turbulent aftermath of his transplant.

Deryn says he was ready to give up and had started planning his funeral. “After four years of treatment, it [was] enough,” he told This Morning.

The nation of Saudi Arabia is facing a $6 billion lawsuit initiated by scores of American insurance companies which are attempting to hold thousands responsible for personal, business and property damage caused by the “terror” attack on September 11.

The joint lawsuit was filed in the US District Court in Manhattan this past week. The law suit is seeking to hold the artificially created kingdom accountable for the attacks which murdered 3,000 people and caused about $10 billion in property damage. The participating insurance companies (e.g. Liberty Mutual, Safeco, Wausau and many Lloyd’s of London syndicates) are attempting to hold Saudi Arabia for providing funding and other material support to al-Qaeda terrorists, who they said, carried out the attacks.

Further, personal lawsuits were also fired filed by surviving family members of about 800 attack victims, as well as the 1,500 injured first responder personnel who responded to the terrorist attack.

During the campaign, and more than once, President Trump made offhanded references to 9/11 which indicated that he did not buy the official narrative. Rather than come out and state his opinions as the President, he is allowing the victim’s families of 9/11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia in American courts.

These law suits have the potential to expose some very powerful and influential people with regard to their potenial complicity and/or negligence for the events that transpired on 9/11.

Videreudvikling af folkeskolens prøver, 2014

Folkeskole forligskredsen kom i november 2014 til enighed om at iværksætte en række initiativer, der skal videreudvikle folkeskolens prøver. Her åbnes der blandt andet for flere produkt- og projektorienterede prøver, øget anvendelse af it i forbindelse med prøverne og prøver, der tager udgangspunkt i partnerskaber mellem skolerne og lokale foreninger og virksomheder.

Aftale om videreudvikling af de nationale test, 2014

Aftalen indebærer blandt andet, at der indføres ekstra obligatoriske test i engelsk og matematik fra og med skoleåret 2016/2017.

Aftalen er grundlaget for den reform af folkeskolen, der trådte i kraft ved skolestart i august 2014. Aftalen indførte blandt andet en længere og mere varieret skoledag.

Over a mere two decades, the Pentagon lost track of a mind-numbing $10 trillion — that’s trillion, with a fat, taxpayer-funded “T” — and no one, not even the Department of Defense, knows where it went or on what it was spent.

Even though audits of all federal agencies became mandatory in 1996, the Pentagon has apparently made itself an exception, and — fully 20 years later — stands obstinately orotund in never having complied.

Because, as defense officials insist — summoning their best impudent adolescent — an audit would take too long and, unironically, cost too much.

“Over the last 20 years, the Pentagon has broken every promise to Congress about when an audit would be completed,” Rafael DeGennaro, director of Audit the Pentagon, told The Guardian recently. “Meanwhile, Congress has more than doubled the Pentagon’s budget.”

Worse, President Trump’s newly-proposed budget seeks to toss an additional $54 billion into the evidently bottomless pit that is the U.S. military — more for interventionist policy, more for resource-plundering, more for proxy fighting, and, of course, more for jets and drones to drop more bombs suspiciously often on civilians.

Maybe.

Because, without the mandated audit, the DoD could be purchasing damned near anything, at any cost, and use, or give, it — to anyone, for any reason.

Officials with the Government Accountability Office and Office of the Inspector General have catalogued egregious financial disparities at the Pentagon for years — yet the Defense Department grouses the cost and energy necessary to perform an audit in compliance with the law makes it untenable.

The U.N.’s top human rights body has officially declared Israel as the world’s worst human rights violator- beating Iran, North Korea, Russia and China for the number 1 spot.
