The so-called ‘Alien megastructure’ star, which has been puzzling astronomers and the public alike since it was first discovered in 2011, is once again emitting mysterious light patterns leaving science geeks in a tizzy.

The first full trailer for "Star Trek: Discovery" hints at a complicated past for one of its main characters, while bringing in famous alien species such as the Vulcans and the Klingons.
"Discovery" is set about 10 years before the original "Star Trek" series that featured Capt. James T. Kirk, Science Officer Spock and other memorable characters. for so long to cover their intentions and actions.
And yet we see
your increasing ability to see through any prevarication, any
covering or cover-up or false representation, whatever form it might

You have felt the growing
energies of despair, chaos, and disruption flowing through your
world now, whether in the areas of economics, politics,
environment, or media.
And as we have noted before, these elements often herald the
death of the old, and the birth of the new.

Et af de første forslag jeg kom på, for at trække situationen i en liberal retning, var at foreslå at enhver der dermed ikke ønskede at lade sine børn vaccinere heller ej skulle betale for de offentlige institutioner. Man kunne dermed få en reduktion af skattebyrden ved at fravælge at sende børnene på en offentlig institution og vælge en privat i stedet.

Det offentlige system ville hurtigt bryde sammen, hvis det var frivilligt at deltage i betaling af institutionerne. Skatteyderne ville hurtigt trække deres penge fra subsidieringen, særligt de som er produktive og har børn i private skoler ville få en gevinst af kunne få lov at beholde deres egne penge og bruge dem direkte på skolen frem for at betale skat og få 75% af skolepengene for en offentlig elev med igen. Meget hurtigt ville det vise sig at være umuligt at dække omkostningerne til driften af de offentlige institutioner fordi midlerne ikke længere kom i en lind strøm fra skatteyderne, der nu har fået et valg hvor de tidligere ikke havde noget.
Om effektiviteten af vaccinationsprogrammet:
Vaccinationsprogrammet blev iværksat i 1987, nogle fik vacciner allerede fra 1982, men dette er 30 år efter børnedødeligheden var reduceret fra flere hundrede om året til 0-15 årligt. Vaccinationsprogrammet kan derfor ikke tage æren for reduktionen af børnedødeligheden, børnedødeligheden faldt betragteligt, og næsten til ingenting inden vaccinationsprogrammet blev indført.

The FCC just fired the opening shot in the battle for the internet.
Despite the 1.2 million comments that the FCC received demanding that the net neutrality rule stay in place, the commission passed Chairman Ajit Pai's plan to allow ISPs like Comcast and Verizon to control and censor what we do online.[1]
But all hope is not lost. The FCC vote today opened a new comment period, when the public can weigh in before the new rules go into effect.
We're launching an all-out push to do everything we can to stop this attack on the internet: pro-net neutrality billboards in key districts, a flood of comments into the FCC, rallies calling on the Senate to block Pai's confirmation as FCC chair ... Whatever it takes.
It's not surprising that Ajit Pai pushed to destroy net neutrality -- after all, his former employer, Verizon, and his pal Comcast have been trying to undermine our Internet freedom for years.
But Pai isn't immune to public scrutiny. If we can generate a big enough public backlash, we can make the FCC reverse course before finalizing this rule.

Special Prosecutor Appointed to Investigate Imaginary Violations of Law with NO PROOF of Any Wrongdoing

WikiLeaks has published a new batch of the ongoing Vault 7 leak, detailing a spyware framework – which "provides remote beacon and loader capabilities on target computers" – allegedly being used by the CIA that works against every version of Microsoft's Windows operating systems, from Windows XP to Windows 10.
Dubbed Athena/Hera, the spyware has been designed to take full control over the infected Windows PCs remotely, allowing the agency to perform all sorts of things on the target machine, including deleting data or uploading malicious software, and stealing data and send them to CIA server.
The leak, which includes a user manual of Athena, overview of the technology, and demonstration on how to use this spyware, reveals that the program has two implications:
According to the whistleblower organization, Athena has the ability to allow the CIA agents to modify its configuration in real time, while the implant is on target "to customize it to an operation."
"Once installed, the malware provides a beaconing capability (including configuration and task handling), the memory loading/unloading of malicious payloads for specific tasks and the delivery and retrieval of files to/from a specified directory on the target system," WikiLeaks claims.The leaked documents suggest that Athena, written in Python programming language, was developed in August 2015, just a month after Microsoft released its Windows 10 operating system.
Interestingly, one document also suggests that the CIA agents have been advised to make sure that the spyware should not get caught by antivirus software programs, especially Kaspersky AV software.
