September 2019 Spiritual Insights and Predictions
I just returned from Europe and it is always interesting to experience the world and people through many different cultures. It is like getting outside yourself and seeing things from an entirely different perspective. When I travel and teach, I get to know people as they live and not as a tourist. Listening to their perspective based on their experiences actually helps me understand astrology more.
I noticed on this trip how we all connect on some kind of commonality. When we find something we agree on or feel a commonality we bond and like that person. Those that we have no commonality we do not bond or come together. Of course, the commonality on this trip was astrology. The first part of the trip we were in Germany with many western astrologers. We attended the wedding of Ray Merriman and Antonia Lansdorf, both my dear friends for many years. It was amazing to cruise down the Rhine river with all the intellectual minds in astrology. Even though we had different perspectives of astrology we bonded on the commonalities. As I taught in Vienna there were students from many countries, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Turkey, England, Canada and South Korea. We all bonded in the passion for astrology. This was so much fun. Many thanks to Natalie Alison Aufischer who arranged our event there.
Outside of the astrological circles I noticed when we spoke with others we search for some kind of commonality in conversation from the love of high heel shoes, to travels and interest in different cities, to children, pets or sports. Also, I noticed wherever the people were the happiest they treated you with more kindness and had a way to make you feel special. This was in certain cities and even in certain hotels. When you have a good experience with people feeling accepted with recognition and a smile you feel good about the place and people.
Because the world is becoming one with globalization we have to find commonality that we can connect with to open the world to a much more loving place, without this we will destroy ourselves. To focus on the differences and not the commonalities will hurt us. One of the big things that separates is our religious and political beliefs. We have to let go of these strong opinions. There is always a reason why we feel the way we do based on our upbringing and what we are told. We must always have an open mind and understand why someone believes the way they do. The most important aspect of our lives beyond all else is the way we treat others. Our opinions that cause us to not connect or not like others is all in the lack of finding something to bond us.
The truth is, if the divinity of God resides in all of us then the way we treat others is recognizing that divinity in all other human beings. This has nothing to do with wrong or right but the respect, appreciation and caring for others. Remember the way you make people feel will be the most important thing people will remember. Don’t complicate this with all the rights or wrongs. Connect with others through a commonality and kindness and the same will be retuned to you. And you will begin to feel the presence of God in everyone changing your outlook on the world.
Many planets will be transiting in Virgo in September which will bring out the hypercritical ways in all of us. But we can use this scrutinizing and critical energy for the positive by analyzing ourselves instead of criticizing others. When we criticize and find faults with others this indicates an insecurity within ourselves. When we focus on other’s faults we are making ourselves superior because our way is the right way and they are wrong. The more you find faults with others the more you are trying to make yourself right. This all boils down to the fact that you feel the need to validate your own beliefs by making others wrong. When you know you are right you will not have to validate your beliefs by making others feel wrong. The more secure you are with your beliefs the more you will not have to validate them.
I used to feel I had to validate my belief in astrology. I was constantly approached by religious fundamentalists or scientists that I had to defend my beliefs about astrology. It was exhausting! But once I became secure in my beliefs that I need not defend them anymore I never have to prove myself. The people I meet find it fascinating and want to know more about what I do. Not long ago I was in a lounge in Barcelona, Spain and we began speaking with another couple, and when I told them I was an astrologer they commented that they didn’t believe in that. I proceeded to explain what I do but their interest dwindled till when I stood up to leave and woman behind me freaked out, exclaiming Its Joni Patry and that she watched all my YouTube videos. I finally got the validation I never received with skeptics before. It comes from the fact that I am secure within myself and do not need to prove myself to others and this attracts and reflects the inner energy without.
For the month of September remember Virgo is about critical analysis and the desire to improve ourselves, so use this time wisely to observe and see yourself objectively. Always remember the most important thing you can do is treat others with kindness, respect and the way you would want to be treated and your world will become a better place. Finding a commonality connects us together and instigates appreciation and friendships.
September Predictions
Mars in Virgo this month increases the risk of infectious diseases. The flu season will be intense along with allergies and other health risks. As Mars begins to square Saturn and Ketu the threat of disease through intentional pollution is possible.
The world is tittering on massive changes mainly because so many people are unhappy.
There is so much anger building and this will surmount into a huge event. Mars’ aspect to Saturn Ketu intensifies the fundamentalism and anger. Saturn with Ketu instigates fear, and as fear controls the masses more fighting will break out. This is all leading to an impending global explosion.
09/02 Mars will conjunct Sun at 15 degrees Leo. The Sun and Mars have been transiting in the same sign for months and the actual coming together early this month in the sign of Leo will definitely heat things up, literally temperatures increase globally, but also people are more emotional. The sign Leo contends with political leaders, and hostility will surface worldwide on a political front. Watch the world as it explodes with protests and attacks. Also, the potential for fires heats up in many places. China is a hotbed for major events.
09/09 As Venus enters Virgo this is not the best time to plan romantic excursions. Venus in Virgo (and combust the Sun) makes one too much involved in fault finding and not in the flow of love and acceptance. Venus will be in Virgo till October 4th.
Mercury is also in Virgo, its exalted sign making our mental capabilities profound. September 11- 28 Mercury is traveling at top speed as it transits the entire sign of Virgo. Mercury is great for communication and business. And while Saturn will turn direct on September 18th business affairs will move forward this month. It is a good time to begin or pursue business based on this.
09/14 The Moon is full at 26 degrees Aquarius and Mars will oppose Neptune at 23 degrees Leo/Aquarius. Be aware this will bring out many delusional people and uncover many secrets that have been upsetting the world, especially in politics. But don’t let the media persuade you, as the truth is not as clear as you think. Neptune is all about deception and many deceptions will be revealed. Many cannot see the truth as Neptune is fog and represents the inability to see clearly. Even with the facts, people will not believe their truths. Remember this affects our own personal lives.
09/24 As Mars enters Virgo the area concerning hygiene and heath can become a crisis. Be aware this can create one of the worse flu seasons in a while.
09/28 Ketu will conjunct Saturn at 19 degrees Sagittarius and on September 26th Rahu will enter the nakshatra Ardra indicating more righteousness and extremes around the world. Ardra’s symbol is a tear drop and when Rahu transited in this nakshatra before it brought extreme events that caused great sadness in the world. Rahu will be in Ardra from September 26, 2019 - April 22, 2020.
Ketu in the nakshatra Mula has caused the most destruction globally. Ketu will be in the nakshatra Mula From February 12 - September 20, 2020. The window of time that Rahu is in Ardra and Ketu in Mula can indicate major destruction worldwide, which is February 12 - April 22, 2020. Ardra nakshatra is ruled by the storm god Rudra and Mula is ruled by the god of destruction Niritti.
One such event when Rahu was in Ardra and Ketu was in Mula was September 11, 2001. I believe many events that are culminating now this month are leading to this destructive phase. This is because of the extreme hostility and anger from so many unhappy people globally. Remember what we must do to find commonality and connect to others instead of projecting our fault finding on to others.
September 14 the full Moon will be conjunct Neptune, which brings to light many secrets concerning world events. Right before the full Moon on September 13 big events transpire that will be very revealing about future events to come as Mars and Sun oppose Neptune. Ketu trines Mars and Rahu trines Neptune. The trine aspect of the Nodes of the Moon Rahu and Ketu are very specific in triggering events. When planets are in exact trine they are conjunct in the navamsha chart (D-9). Look to their navamsha placements as Mars is conjunct Ketu and Neptune conjunct Rahu. This is very significant and revealing in terms of the events that will occur this day.
In Jaimini astrology all planets in mutable signs aspect one another, from Saturn/Ketu in Sagittarius they are aspecting Mars, Moon, Sun, Mercury and Venus in Virgo all in mutable signs. Every planet is in aspect except Jupiter. Jupiter’s depositing planet is Mars which in Virgo will produce major problems especially around health and disease.
Neptune rules oil, and when Mars triggers Neptune oil prices generally rise. This will have an effect on the world globally.
The months of September and October generally affect the stock market in a negative way. The stock market will shift downwards, many say a recession is coming, I don’t believe this will occur till November of 2020 when Jupiter enters and stays in Capricorn, but cryptocurrency begins to have leverage.
For now my predictions are that the economy and the stock market will continue to be very volatile, meaning it will go down but rebound some throughout 2020. But the big change is coming after November 2020 based on the transit of Jupiter in Capricorn, where it will stay for most of 2021. Interestingly this is the time of the US elections. President Trump will do everything in his power to keep the economy doing well, mainly because this is the main premise that people voted for him (because he is a business man and not a politician). So this could indicate that someone else gets into office or that Trump will relinquish his efforts to placate the economy till after the elections.
