To my Dear Friends and Community,
Dramatic. Intense. Life-altering.
Those are the words I would use to describe the planetary vibrations this month. We’re in the middle of a huge energy shift…
Right now, the world is on high alert as the conflict between Ukraine and Russia has officially come to a head. This is directly reflected by the planets as Mars, the planet of war, and Venus, the planet of peace, are exactly conjunct and will stay that way through March. Around April 5th, Mars and Saturn will conjoin in Capricorn which will be an explosive time of destruction yet healing through the end of April into May, when Jupiter and Venus transit together. There is so much more to unpack in regards to this world-changing event and I will keep you posted on the transits to come.
Aside from this major international conflict, the most significant event taking place this month is that Rahu will move into Aries and Ketu into Libra starting March 16th, continuing through November 28th, 2023. Anytime the nodes of the Moon, Rahu and Ketu, change signs it manifests as a tremendous energy shift. Aries is ruled by Mars and is action-oriented and Libra is ruled by Venus and brings balance. Together these powerful signs produce big events including earthquakes, economic downturns and war. The 1929 stock market crash occurred while Rahu was in Aries and Ketu in Libra. Additionally, Rahu was in Aries and Ketu in Libra when a devastating tsunami hit Southeast Asia on December 26, 2004, killing an estimated 280,000 people and crippling many countries.
While this might sound scary, these two signs can also constitute new beginnings. Progressive thinking and problem solving are the end result of events that transpire while Rahu and Ketu create eclipses, including great inventions, space travel and breakthroughs in technology.
It is my belief that the beginning of this Aries/Libra energy shift will mark the end of Coronavirus restrictions around the world. This is huge and will allow us all to live freely and move forward without fear or consequences.
The New Moon in Aquarius on March 2nd also signifies this positive change. With the nakshatra Shatabhishak, which deals with hard to cure diseases and addictions, it is likely that many medicinal solutions to the Coronavirus crisis will be unveiled and people will feel a sense of relief. Since the New Moon will be conjunct Jupiter, this will also be a time for truth-seeking and spirituality. Many people are waking up to the fact that there is a higher entity protecting us post-Covid. There will even be more open discussions regarding aliens, UFOs and why we as humans exist on this planet. Prepare to have your mind expanded!

Important dates for the week of March 1st:
March 1st: Rahu trines Venus at 01-degree Taurus / Capricorn
Venus represents love, romance, relationships and opulent wealth while Rahu represents obsessions and extremes. Because these two planets are in Earth signs, this means that government spending and finances will come under scrutiny. You may also feel an obsessive need to be in control when it comes to your relationships, especially as Venus conjoins Pluto again. It is important to surrender that need as harmony and balance can only exist when we allow others to have autonomy.
March 2nd: New Moon at 18 degrees Aquarius
The New Moon is occurring in the nakshatra called Shatisabishak, which deals with diseases and addictions. People have taken aggressive measures to find cures for the Coronavirus and its variants and only now are we seeing results. It is likely that many medical breakthroughs and solutions to this crisis will now be unveiled, including mental health resources and treatment. Shatisabishak is also connected to astrologers and astronomers. Since the New Moon will be conjunct Jupiter, there is going to be more interest in the areas of truth and spirituality as it relates to the outer worlds including space and extraterrestrials.
March 2nd: Saturn and Mercury conjunct at 25 degrees Capricorn
Saturn is the planet that focuses on power while Mercury is a planet that deals with business and trades. This conjunction is occurring in the nakshatra of Dhanishta, which is a very wealthy and prosperous nakshatra. It is also a very direct and no-nonsense nakshatra which means a serious restructuring of our supply chain and inflation crisis will take precedence. A Saturn and Mercury conjunction can also temporarily block a person’s intellect and thinking. It is important that you do not let this conjunction get the best of your creative talents. Just be patient, let this conjunction separate and you will get your creative juices flowing again in no time.
March 3rd: Venus, Mars and Pluto conjunct at 04 degrees Capricorn
This is a very intense and difficult transit especially in regards to relationships. Now is the time to be explicitly clear when communicating with your partner. Make sure to listen and leave space for them to do the same. Pluto represents control, power, manipulation and betrayal so, if these energies are not handled properly, couples may face major power struggles and betrayal issues.
March 5th: Jupiter conjunct Sun at 21 degrees Aquarius
This is a very optimistic and prosperous transit. Normally, when Jupiter is conjunct the Sun within a 12-degree orb, it is considered to be combust. This means Jupiter is unable to operate at its full capacity when it comes to having optimism and spiritual guidance. However, when Jupiter and the Sun are at the exact degree, this is called cazimi. Cazimi is when a physical planet aligns within the Sun at the same degree and becomes one with the Sun. Thus, Jupiter is extremely strong and powerful at this time. Use this opportunity to pursue or initiate any spiritual or philosophical interests. It will most definitely pay off in the long run. There will be an overall feeling of optimism and happiness during this time so, make the most out of it!
While I know this seems like A LOT, all of this change is preparing us for what is to come in the next few months with the most incredible planetary conjunction taking place in April. This spring and summer will be a time of relief, happiness and peace–with opportunities for growth. Good will seem to win over evil. But we can’t get lazy. We MUST take advantage of this positive change and prepare for the next wave of dark and disruptive forces in late July and August by choosing a spiritual path today!
