As an example, Asgardia-1 was boosted to space and then deployed by US companies on a NASA-funded mission so the satellite falls under US jurisdiction. On top of that, i then had to pay for my citizenship / residency card fee (€100) x 25 years x 200.000 people = do you catch my drift??... This decision was taken at the second meeting of the Supreme Space Council of Asgardia.
