In the next 24 hours, we will be moving through the alchemical energies of the Solar Eclipse.
The energies are very powerful and intense right now, which anyone who is sensitive to energy can feel.
A Solar Eclipse is one of the most powerful astrological occurrences, because it often brings with it a great amount of change.
During an eclipse, the consciousness of humanity is expanded, so we may feel ourselves being stretched beyond our comfort zone.
It would be a wonderful idea to write down whatever inspirations we receive at this time, so we have them available for easy access later on, to integrate them into our lives.
An eclipse is also a time for healing, because it brings to the surface deeply buried patterns that are no longer aligned with our highest potential.
If you find yourself and others feeling a bit more emotional or sensitive than usual during this time ... be gentle with yourself and them, as this will allow the healing that's taking place to be a much smoother experience.
As we use this time for healing, it's also a great opportunity to let go of the illusions of separation, and to remember that we have always been One with all of Life, including with each other.
This particular Solar Eclipse is asking us to make ourselves a top priority in our lives.
We are often conditioned to put ourselves last, and by doing so we end up manifesting things like resentment, struggle, sadness, depression, exhaustion and more.
By making ourselves the top priority in our lives, we no longer look outside of ourselves to fill a void. We understand that the only reason why there was a void in the first place was because we weren't choosing to give to yourselves fully.
This is what it means to make ourselves a priority, to give to ourselves fully and freely in ways that nurtures, heals and empowers us to show up in the world from our most authentic and true self.
This is the time to embrace our authentic and true self, because anything less than this is feeling painful nowadays.
One of the greatest ways to work with this Solar Eclipse is to be clear about what our intentions are, and to be willing to follow through on them when the opportunity presents itself.
During a Solar Eclipse, meditating on the Sun strengthens our internal Sun (located in the solar plexus/stomach region), which represents our Divine power.
This helps us express ourselves more openly and freely, without holding back. It also helps us build confidence in ourselves, including our gifts, talents, and overall presence in this world.

Pardons Cattle Ranchers Dwight and Steven Hammond

President Donald Trump granted
executive clemency on Tuesday to multi-generation cattle ranchers Dwight
Lincoln Hammond Jr. and son, Steven Hammond.
“The Hammonds are multi-generation cattle ranchers in Oregon imprisoned in connection with a fire that leaked onto a small portion of neighboring public grazing land,” White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement issued Tuesday on the full pardon of the Hammonds. “The evidence at trial regarding the Hammonds’ responsibility for the fire was conflicting, and the jury acquitted them on most of the charges.”
Sanders recounted the series of
events that left the 76-year-old and 46-year-old Hammond father and son
sentenced to five years each in prison after an “overzealous appeal” under
the Obama administration.
Sanders continued:
At the Hammonds’ original
sentencing, the judge noted that they are respected in the community and that
imposing the mandatory minimum, 5-year prison sentence would “shock the
conscience” and be “grossly disproportionate to the severity” of their
conduct. As a result, the judge imposed significantly lesser sentences. The
previous administration, however, filed an overzealous appeal that resulted
in the Hammonds being sentenced to five years in prison. This was unjust.
Dwight Hammond is now 76 years
old and has served approximately three years in prison. Steven Hammond is 49
and has served approximately four years in prison. They have also paid
$400,000 to the United States to settle a related civil suit. The Hammonds
are devoted family men, respected contributors to their local community, and
have widespread support from their neighbors, local law enforcement, and
farmers and ranchers across the West. Justice is overdue for Dwight and
Steven Hammond, both of whom are entirely deserving of these Grants of
Executive Clemency.
The announcement came as
President Trump set out for NATO meetings in Brussels, Belgium.
