Appearing on Le Grand Journal, the Belgian actor was keen to express that he was “aware” of who was really shaping the US presidential election race.
Speaking about Ted Cruz and Donald Trump, Van Damme asserted, “Well, they are not going to win”.

Ted Cruz just called tens of millions of health-conscious
Americans "anti-science zealots" for opposing GMOs.
Borrowing a line right out of the Monsanto playbook, Cruz has
announced he's all-in for the biotech industry, glyphosate, GMOs and evil
corporations like Monsanto.
You can never eat enough weedkiller and genetically modified
corn, Cruz now implies, and he simultaneously claims that Monsanto is feeding
the world. (Yeah, just wow.)
As a promoter of the Second Amendment, Ted Cruz apparently
believes that Americans should have access to buy a gun but not to read a label.
(Perhaps because he believes labels are more dangerous than guns...?)
All this means Ted
Cruz has become the Hillary Clinton of the right.
