Forget three days, now physicist behind radical laser propulsion system explains how we could get to Mars in 30 MINUTES (Another Soft Disclosure by NASA? - OR - Secret CIA Project To Explore Mars by use of Teleportation Already Existed In The 80s?)

Physicists in California are working on spacecraft that could let humans reach the nearest stars in our solar system - a challenge that is not possible with current propulsion technology. The answer could lie in what's known as photonic propulsion, a technique that uses light from lasers to produce thrust (illustrated)

  • Idea put forward by UC Santa Barbara physics professor, Phillip Lubin
  • He wants to fire high-powered lasers onto sails on a wafer-thin craft
  • Craft could be propelled to the red planet at 174.3 million miles per hour
  • Has previously said that a large craft could get to Mars in three days
