These new restrictions take effect from today
On Wednesday, a number of new coronary restrictions will come into force in an attempt to keep the spread of infection down until Christmas. Partial closure has been introduced in 38 municipalities - including in Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus and a large number of municipalities in the metropolitan area and on Zealand.
These measures apply in the 38 municipalities from today until 3 January:
- School students from 5th grade and up are sent home and must be taught digitally.
- Students in upper secondary education are sent home and must be taught digitally.
- As a general rule, higher education must be transferred to digital teaching. There may be a few exceptions.
- Bars, cafes and restaurants must be closed. Takeout, are possible.
- Theaters, venues, cinemas and the like must remain closed.
- Swimming pools, gyms, sports halls, museums, libraries, evening schools and the like must be kept closed.
- In other places where sports and association activities are carried out, indoor areas must be kept closed to the public. Professional athletes must continue to use the indoor areas.
- As a rule, sports and association life may only gather ten people in the same place.
- Indoor areas in amusement parks, zoos, aquariums and the like must be kept closed to the public.
- Public workplaces are encouraged to send employees home who do not perform critical functions.
- Private employers are encouraged to ensure that employees who have the opportunity to do so work from home.
As of today - Wednesday, December 9 - you are no longer allowed to use the first row of seats behind the driver of Movia's buses.
