A British entrepreneur and art curator may have faked his suicide on Bali after being suspected of carrying out frauds around the world.

Police have been unable to find the body of Ryan Roth, 39, who left a note for his girlfriend by a 500ft cliff on the south of the island on Monday.

After his disappearance the Australian authorities said he was wanted for questioning over a fraud allegation.

Mr Roth appeared to enjoy a jet-set lifestyle with a glamorous girlfriend and claimed to live and work in Tokyo, Singapore, London and Bali.
