🚨 ~ Council of Europe anti-torture Committee: The Ellebæk immigration center is one of the worst in the EU and calls on Denmark to rectify it within three months (or else) ~ | Blogger: [😓Denmark's increasing human rights violations✋] ... It really, really breaks my heart here at SoTW💔... It's incredible sad, that one of the richest and most (democratic) countries in the world, has it's own (Guantanamo Bay prison) facility where “Rejected Asylum Seekers”, are treated like "prisoners" with no criminal history according to several human rights NGO, that has released highly critical reports for years on asylum and immigration practices in Denmark... Latest, Council of Europe anti-torture Committee has said, that, the physical frames is in such serious decay, that's it not "suited" for human beings... "- Our findings are very serious. First of all, the physical framework is in incredibly poor condition. But we also think it is totally unacceptable to place these people in prison-like conditions, like the ones we have seen. They are not criminals, but they are placed in a center that is much worse than a prison, says Hans Wolff, who heads the delegation that visited Ellebæk in April and who now has the critical shooting aimed at Denmark."... |

"Denmark ranks itself internationally as one of the world's absolute foremost champions in the observance of human rights, but not only are there increasing international criticisms of the Nyrup Rasmussen government's violations of human rights - a word for word study of the 30 separate articles in the United Nation's Universal Declaration of Human Rights show that Denmark is in breach of a total of 20 of these." ~ falken.dk
