Valkyrien 2017 Norwegian TV mini serie | ~ Valkyrien: this latest Scandi-noir success is more like Breaking Bad than Borgen ~ | Blogger: [⚕️Sounds like a peach of a treat?⚡] ...Leif: "Treating patients, who wish to avoid public healthcare. That people lose trust if they get the wrong diagnose, wrong treatment. Sick people who faces arrogant, invasive questions. Who want a say over their body or don't accept the prognosis. Or don't want to die alone as unwanted expenditure. People who distrust Western medicine. Refuse to be groped by strangers who forget their names. Refuse to support an out-of-control pharmaceutical industry, that exploits the poor and makes money from patents it never produces. Spreading disease is more profitable. An industry corrupts people's lives and heath. Some refuse to take part. For some, the cure is too costly in the richest in the World. The clinic is open ~ Leif... "The total amount of energy is constant. It can't be created or destroyed. If something stops, something else starts. That's physics. All heat, electricity move- ment, rage, love... Everything just changes form. It's like a contract that we don't know we've signed. Too much of something, or too little or something else, ruins everything. If we stopping eating meat, global warming would stop. But an end to Christmas shopping would mean end of the world economy. Everything that we take for granted. Power, water, food, heating, light, television, internet... As long as it's all there, we're in a balanced, stable system. But it doesn't take very much, because all energy is in flux. A metro train uses mains power to accelerate. Its brakes, generate power and feed it back into the same network. More than 2,000 kilowatts per train. Right now 64 trains are running. If they all brake, that's 128,000 kilowatts flowing into the nearest transformers. When they melt down, the overload on the remaining network increases and it makes it worse for the next and the next, that comes after that... It's time to wake up now. It's midnight. The countdown began a long time ago. Now the alarms will go off. Ready or NOT"... ~ Leif (Pål Sverre Hagen), a member of Norway's Civil Defense Unit... |
