Spiritual Insights May 2018
We are on the eve of great political turmoil and economic changes. May begins the Mars transit into Capricorn where it will travel with Ketu from May 3 till November 7. Mars will be here for six months because of the back and forth motion during its retrograde cycle. This is an astounding time of transformation and revelations because Mars will be conjunct the lunar eclipse July 27. The focus of world events and personal surprises will be on account of this powerful placement. What is occurring now is leading up to an explosive time period. What is being exposed currently is only a diversion to what is really lurking beneath the surface. The attention of the masses including the media is being detained. But it is easy to persuade the media and masses for their awareness is easily focused on the superficial. There is a much more sinister plot brewing. Let’s take a look at the planetary cycles before and apply their meanings to the here and now to understand where we are headed.
The placements of Rahu and Ketu are imperative because they are where the eclipses will be occurring. The eclipses determine what is surfacing from previous time periods that are leading to our development in humanity.
The birth chart of the U.S. gives a basis and focus of what these planetary events are telling us. Now is the unfoldment of what is coming in the U.S., May through November. What is being set in place at this time will create the explosive events between now and 2020.
In the birth chart for the U.S. (Kelleher) transiting Rahu is in the 8th house. This is the house of scandals, big finances, and extreme power. Deep dark plans are in the works while we are focusing on superficial scandals.
It is when Rahu and Ketu transit into Gemini and Sagittarius that the results manifest from the 8th house of darkness. As Rahu and Ketu transit in Cancer and Capricorn before they transit into Gemini and Sagittarius plans are in the works that result in the catastrophes. Reviewing previous times major catastrophic events occurred when Rahu was in Gemini and Ketu was in Sagittarius. August 6, 1945 was the bombing of Hiroshima, November 22, 1963 was the assassination of President John Kennedy, and September 11, 2001 was the terrorist attack on the U.S. World Trade Center. The year of 1981 Rahu was in Cancer and Ketu in Capricorn, and during this year there were two assassination attempts; one on President Reagan on March 30, and Pope John Paul II May 13. In 1982-1983 when Rahu was in Gemini and Ketu was in Sagittarius there were no catastrophes. Maybe because events were prevented before when Rahu was in Cancer and Ketu in Capricorn.
The signs Rahu and Ketu are transiting are where the eclipses are occurring and they occur in these placements about every 18-and-one-half years (a nodal return). This is up and coming again when Rahu will be in Gemini and Ketu in Sagittarius March 2019 through September 2020. But the pivotal time is now while Rahu is transiting in Cancer in the 8th house of the U.S. chart. The question is, can the unthinkable be prevented? If so, now is the time before the nodes go into Gemini and Sagittarius.
As Mars transits into Capricorn the retrograde cycle of Mars transiting over the eclipse points will set the stage for what is to come. Mars is always a trigger to ignite events. Furthermore, to make things more intense Mars will be out of bounds July through September meaning events will be even more extreme. When planets go beyond 23.5 degrees in declination they are considered out of bounds. The celestial equator is a projection of the earth's equator, and is inclined to the path of the sun (the ecliptic) by 23.5 degrees. The ecliptic is important because where the Sun travels, the planets follow. Mars will be 25-26 degrees in declination (out of bounds). This means the energy will be out of control during this time. Mars rules anger, fighting, war, and attacks. Mars is traveling with Ketu that rules terrorism and fear. The month of May begins the intensity that is leading to more and more explosive events. The last time Mars was retrograde in Capricorn was 1971. During this time The New York Times began to publish sections of the Pentagon Papers starting on June 13, showing the U.S. government had been lying to the American people concerning the Vietnam War. Distrust of the government has prevailed till now. Another event the same year was that the U.S. would no longer officially trade dollars for gold. We have been enjoying a new era of human history. As Mars was retrograde during this time it was conjunct Rahu instead of Ketu intensifying the effects of retrograde Mars.
Mars and Ketu are transiting the 2nd house of the U.S. chart indicating great extremes with finances and money. Mars and Ketu in Capricorn may bring highs initially but the energy shifts as Mars turns retrograde June 26. It will be a roller coaster.
Watch how things begin to change this month activating the U.S. chart. Transiting Saturn is opposing the U.S. natal Jupiter that rules the homeland (4th house). The land is very unstable and the last time Saturn opposed Jupiter in 1989 there was a bad earthquake (6.9) in San Francisco.
May 10, transiting Mars will be aspecting by opposition natal Mercury in the 8th house. Mercury in this chart rules the 10th house of the government and the President. This is a very difficult time for the government. There are powers beyond the government that are planning attacks that can devastate the country. These powers far exceed political leaders. I believe President Trump is aware of these powers. He is becoming more and more paranoid because he doesn’t know who he can trust.
As transiting Mars nears transiting Ketu and natal Ketu of the U.S. chart more deviant things are being uncovered. A building crisis is nearing as Mars turns retrograde on June 26. Mars will station at 15 degrees Capricorn within one degree of natal Ketu in the U.S. chart. There will be major disruption during this time.
As Saturn stations on September 6th it will be exactly conjunct the U.S. Ascendant at 8 degrees Sagittarius. Here is another indication that the U.S. will be in a difficult place.
The saving grace is transiting Jupiter will trine transiting Neptune and these two planets will trine the natal Sun of the U.S. chart. This creates a grand trine all 22 degrees of Libra, Aquarius and Gemini. This will be exact May 25. This can give spiritual protection. Looking back at the year of 1981 there were two attempted assassinations, President Reagan and Pope John Paul II while Rahu was in Cancer and Ketu in Capricorn. This is where they are now. I am hoping we can avert any such catastrophes in the coming years of 2019-2020.
With extensive research of past cycles we can better understand the coming cycles to prepare ourselves to avert or prevent future tragedies. We have free will! Jupiter’s aspect to Neptune during this time may indicate a spiritual transformation on earth. What is being revealed at this time may not be what it appears. Neptune rules deception and denials meaning many truths may be revealed. It also rules spirituality and the movie business indicating a deep need for spiritual connection. Movies to inspire and direct people’s attention for a more aware and conscious humanity is evolving. There are many spiritual forces at work now if we are willing to open to the energies surrounding us at this time.
This month we have the power to look within and heal past injustices to further prevent world or personal crisis. It is a time of awakening!
May Predictions
May is the time the energy will change drastically. Mars will enter Capricorn May 3rd increasing the energetic field. It is nearing Ketu and they will conjunct on June 7th. As these two near each other major change can be expected. Mars and Ketu are conjunct every two years. The last time they came together in Capricorn was in 1999. It was December 2nd 1999 when they were conjunct at 11 degrees Capricorn. This was the year that the stock market was at record highs. But as Mars turns retrograde June 26th watch how a major shift suddenly sets in.
As Mars transits in its exalted sign of Capricorn it empowers leaders and issues around government affairs. Capricorn rules the government and business promoting gains and progress. It seems things are expanding beyond the point of return. The stock market is headed for a major shift. It will be incredibly volatile the next few months. Watch as it hits highs with drastic lows during the times of the solar and lunar eclipses in July. So brace yourself for a financial crash. But not all the financial markets will crash. July will be a major readjustment period. Many rules and regulations will be put into place especially with cryptocurrency. Before this occurs Cryptocurrency should be on a rise from May-June. Actually the regulations will change and help the cryptocurrency markets in the long run but initially there will be a major scramble in July.
Fear and anger will grow with an air of uncertainty. May 13th Mercury will conjunct Uranus indicating problematic air travel. There can be mishaps with machinery since Mercury and Uranus are conjunct in Aries which is ruled by Mars. As they are both in the nakshatra Ashwini ruled by Ketu this causes unpredictable mishaps with air travel. As Mars and Ketu near each other more events involving travel and airlines increase. Terrorism is on the rise over the next few months. Summer in the northern hemisphere is going to be problem during the heat.
May 15th the new Moon in Taurus will change the tone, but note on this day transiting Saturn is quincunx (8/6) Rahu causing erupting mass emotions. No one seems to agree on political terms. At the same time Mars will square Uranus intensifying many explosive events.
Expect the unexpected! Earth changes are in effect again. There will be many earthquakes between now and August.
News will swell May-August of many former Presidents, politicians, world leaders, and movie star’s deaths. Seems there are constant funerals in the air.
As Uranus and Mercury conjoin this month Jupiter will oppose Mercury May 22nd. This indicates new inventions and technological advances. May 25th Jupiter casts a trine to Neptune which advances the ways in which we communicate. Social media platforms become more innovative and diverse. The technological devices used today are changing to more vivid imagining. Cameras and photography will be transformed. Communications beyond this world become a reality.
Interest in spirituality and metaphysical sciences is growing and the media will introduce inspirational spiritual leaders to advance the coming age. There is a merging of science and spirituality. Movies and music are creating a movement towards an awakening to a higher consciousness. As the mass consciousness changes so will the reflection through political leaders.
The next 3-4 months involves a major cleansing of the corruption and false media. The truth is surfacing from the eclipses July and August. Everything is rapidly changing. It is time to get healthy both physically and mentally because the pressure of the changing times will affect everyone.
