VANCOUVER, BC – YouTube issued notice on May 2, 2016, that a Ricky Dearman news video offering further evidence to the reported pedophile cover-up in Hampstead had been blocked from viewers in the United Kingdom. The notice, sent via email, cited the appearance of an anonymous “defamation complaint” upon which the social media giant took action in a way deemed “necessary to comply with local laws”. This incident furthers perceptions of ongoing web-sanitizing attempts to influence public opinion and censor discourse surrounding this case and the reporting of controversial news in the public interest.
NewsInsideOut.com in its initial story described how the video ““Ricky Dearman’s Satanic Verses” investigates a besieged father responding to allegations he leads a North London-based satanic cult focused on ritual murder, pedophilia and human trafficking. A new message stating “Satan” is located “on the Earth” emerges from within a digital voice sample inviting comparison with a passage from the biblical Job.” The disgraced actor had earlier told BBC “I’m the leader of a satanic sex cult”.
