The cult classic TV series X-files is coming back on the air after nearly a 14 years hiatus. On January 24th, 2016 a six-episode miniseries will air on Fox to the excitement of fans everywhere. To many interested in secret Earth governments, UFOs, extraterrestrials and the military industrial complex, the series is a tantalizing display of purely fictional musings with no real basis in reality, or is it?Since the show's final episode aired in 2002, a slow and steady release of information related to the aforementioned topics has given many Sci-fi fans something to think about. Perhaps what is revealed in movies, TV shows, and comic books has more truth to it than meets the eye. And perhaps all of these works are secretly an effort to hide the truth in plain site.

As the X-files introduction says, "the truth is out there," but if we label it as fiction without any investigation, this bias will literally blind us to any truthful elements contained within a working.
I contend this is one of the reasons science fiction has so much soft disclosure embedded in it, chiefly for the purpose of normalizing the data within the viewers mind.
