Tomorrowland (subtitled A World Beyond in some regions) is a 2015 American science-fiction mystery adventure film directed and co-written by Brad Bird. Bird co-wrote the film's screenplay with Damon Lindelof, from an original story treatment by Bird, Lindelof, and Jeff Jensen.The film stars George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson, Raffey Cassidy, Tim McGraw, Kathryn Hahn, and Keegan-Michael Key. In the film, a disillusioned genius inventor and a teenage science enthusiast, embark to an ambiguous alternate dimension known as "Tomorrowland", where their actions directly affect the world and themselves.

The “Tomorrowland” Mystery


Introduction:  
 

In 1954 when Academy Award winning Hollywood cartoonist Walt Disney produced his first live-action epic adventure movie, “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” the names of both Disney and author Jules Verne became synonymous with daring futuristic imagination.



But thanks to 20th Century technologies Walt Disney’s imagination would not be confined to Hollywood films. Concurrent with the Verne movie production Walt Disney was building a California theme park where the public could experience a realm of unlimited imagination first-hand; the magic kingdom called “Disneyland”. A key component within Disneyland park was an ongoing exhibition of the potentials of advanced technology and the promise such technologies held for the future betterment of human society… it was called “Tomorrowland”!



On July 22, 1955, years before space travel was a reality, Walt Disney offered a glimpse into the rapidly approaching future of space travel…

Walt Disney once said, “Tomorrowland was a vista into a world of wondrous places signifying man’s achievements, a step into the future with predictions of constructive things to come.”

In 1955 flights to the moon were just a dream; a work in progress, a dream yet to be realized. Walt Disney always had a fascination with transportation and space exploration. And by the 1960s his dream of space flight would become a dynamic reality that would ultimately captivate not just America, but the entire world…

“But why, some say, the moon? Why choose this as our goal? And they may well ask, why climb the highest mountain? Why, 35 years ago, fly the Atlantic? Why does Rice play Texas?

The spectacular success of NASA’s rocket programs seemed to carry an up-lifting promise that human ingenuity could accomplish anything…



But before the 1960s were over that optimistic dream got de-railed…



“Tomorrowland” 2015--the movie…

In 2015, six decades after the opening of Disneyland amusement park in California, Disney film productions released an action/adventure motion picture that asks the questions, whatever became of Disney’s hopeful dream of tomorrow, and can we change the future for the better?

Casey’s Journey…

“Tomorrowland”’s main character Casey Newton falls into possession of a mysterious pin that when she touches it transports her instantly into a dazzling futuristic world of incredible technologies: “Tomorrowland”. She’s taken aback by this entire experience—but as soon as she lets go of the pin ‘Tomorrowland’ vanishes--“When I touched this thing it felt like anything is possible.”



From that point the story is propelled by Casey’s determination to find if the world she envisioned is actually real. Eventually Casey’s quest leads her to hunt down a mysterious recluse Frank Walker who reluctantly assures her that “Tomorrowland” did exist… “What you saw was a place where the best and the brightest came together to actually change it.” And climbing aboard his secret teleportation pod he agrees to takes her there…



“Tomorrowland” is a story about people who want the best for the world, who want to see innovation and hope and who don’t want to give up—a radical idea for a world sinking deeper into murky pessimism.



The “Tomorrowland” movie at first blush seems to be a typically quaint Disney science-fiction fantasy romp, however, a cryptic animated introduction trimmed from the final release of “Tomorrowland” called “History of Tomorrow” reveals a much deeper story is contained within this action movie; a secret future allegedly planned in 1889 by a mysterious secret society called “Plus Ultra”…



HISTORY OF TOMORROW

"Since the dawn of recorded history, Mankind has boldly pursued its destiny, bolstered by an unwavering belief in progress.

Yet, progress has a dark cost.

With every advance, comes the great temptation to misuse new knowledge for domination. Innovation, if left ungoverned by conscience, can lead to destruction. Yet, there is no such thing as fate. We can, and always must, make our own future.

An Association of Futurists

But is the Plus Ultra Society itself a fact or fiction? Did Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison, Gustave Eiffel and Jules Verne actually form a secret club called “Plus Ultra” in 1889 to ponder the best possible future for all mankind? The heart of this story asserts that Tesla, with his fantastic visionary technology, discovered a pristine world in space where a new utopian society could be established; a world ‘further beyond’. And that he devised a means of dimensional transportation to get there.

As well, the Plus Ultra mythos suggests that in later years Walt Disney himself became a member of this association of futurists.



Of course in 2015 Disney’s quaint, action-adventure movie “Tomorrowland” portrays that utopian world as an actual reality. But of course the film offers no definitive proof that any such society as Plus Ultra ever existed, but it correctly suggests such visionary futurists as Verne, Edison, Tesla and Eiffel would likely have been deeply alarmed at the course on which civilization was headed; a suicidal course upon which the greedy captains of industry were relentlessly steering the world.



Nikola Tesla himself stated only technology that served to benefit to both humanity and planet earth could be called… “Progress”.





Origins of Dystopia: The Industrial Revolution

Following the Civil War a handful of men came to rule America’s industrial capitalism and the nation itself with their brilliance and blind ambition. They knew no bounds, recognized no authority but their own. They transformed the American economy in a very brutal and harsh way which earned them the reputation as “Robber Barons”.



J. P. Morgan, Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller and E. H. Harriman ruled finance, steel production, petroleum and the railroads with iron fists. By 1900 America was a very different country from the nation of small farmers and merchants imagined by Thomas Paine and Thomas Jefferson. Little more than one hundred years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence the Robber Barons had transformed America into a corporate giant and made the U. S. a world power in oil, steel, finance and communications. But the rise of American industrialism came at a terrible cost to both human society and the environment.



Unbridled capitalism reduced the mass population into virtual robots groomed to serve corporate monopolies first as laborers and second as consumers of the very products they manufactured; a ceaseless cycle inexorably draining the planet of its natural resources. As well, these powerful industrialists, behind a mask of democratic ideals, launched devastating global wars to further expand their insatiable financial ambitions.



And even today, more than one hundred years since the Industrial Revolution the modern inheritors of this vast corporate wealth who now dominate mass communications continue to promote an illusion of noble national democratic ideals to a gullible population as all the while they relentlessly plunder any nation they choose to squeeze out every last dollar of profit from the planet’s dwindling natural resources.

The “Vril” Society: German Futurists

History does record that following World War I a group of German futurists formed to pursue ‘alternative’ technologies that would ultimately liberate Germany from the petroleum monopoly dominated by the conquering industrialists and bankers of United States and Britain.

Styling themselves as the “Vril” Society these visionaries were determined to develop 'alternative science' and 'alternative technologies' based on principles possessed by 'lost' civilizations of antiquity; a source of universal free-energy that would revolutionize human society.

As the legend goes, a fateful meeting was held in 1919 at an old hunting lodge near Berchtesgaden, where psychic medium Maria Orsic presented to her Vril Society associates telepathic messages she claimed to have received from an extraterrestrial civilization existing in the distant Aldebaran solar system, sixty-eight light years away, in the Constellation of Taurus.



One set of Maria's channeled transmissions appeared to be written in an ancient eastern language, which Babylonian scholars recognized as ancient Sumerian. Translations of these channelings revealed they contained instructions for building a circular machine that could navigate both time and space.



But tragically with the onset of the Second World War Germany was once again bombed into submission for daring to challenge the international petroleum cartel’s invincible global domination.

It would seem the only way left to fully realize the dream of a new technological society would be to build it on another world…

Nikola Tesla’s Portal to Tomorrowland

On May 17, 1899, just twenty years before the Vril Society’s contact with extraterrestrials, Plus Ultra scientist Nikola Tesla, working in Colorado Springs, detected electromagnetic signals of extraterrestrial origin. As well Tesla was rumored to have traced the mysterious signals to a world very much like Earth but a planet unclaimed and unspoiled.

Tesla was also supposed to have been tinkering with electromagnetic techniques for trans-dimensional bi-location; a form of teleportation, to access multi-dimensional realms.

Nikola Tesla is one of the most mysterious and enigmatic characters of the early 20th century, and precisely because of his mysterious genius that strange tales have been ascribed to him. One such unverified account reveals that by 1937 Nikola Tesla had allegedly become involved with yet another secret association of innovative futurists calling themselves the “Virtual Geographic League”, who were determined to build a manned device capable of navigating multiple dimensions. And this time Tesla was joined by famed aviator Amelia Earhart!



According to the legend of the Virtual Geographic League Amelia Earhart was not lost in a flight over the Pacific in July of 1937, but that she disappeared during a test performance of the League’s experimental vehicle three months earlier in a hangar facility at Lakehurst, New Jersey.



On May 25, 1937 at 9:01 AM the world renowned flier was sealed inside the pod capsule and Tesla himself activated the energy field generators. In a flash the pod disappeared. After ten minutes the generators were shut off and the pod flashed back into reality once again—but its pilot was missing--Amelia Earhart had completely vanished. Efforts to find her were useless.



It was left to Amelia’s wealthy publicist husband George Putnam to fashion an acceptable account of the daring pilot’s tragic disappearance, but was Amelia really lost at sea, lost in space or did she find a NEW world and decide to stay there?

Walt Disney 33rd Degree Freemason

History of the Virtual Geographic League vanished as well, following Amelia Earhart’s disappearance in 1937. By 1941 the whole world was at war and by 1943 Nikola Tesla was dead. But according to the Plus Ultra mythos visionary futurist and 33rd Degree Freemason—Walt Disney himself was a society member.



Certainly the whole history of Masonry was a legacy of daring exploration in the spirit of “Plus Ultra”--to seek ‘further beyond’. From the Knights Templars hunting hidden chambers under King Solomon’s Temple there arose a secret society brotherhood determined to recover lost mysteries of ancient alchemical science.



Christopher Columbus followed Templar traditions to set out for the New World. Even the colonies fighting for existance in early America were a Freemasonic enterprise...



As well, the daring explorations of Freemasons Lewis and Clark opened North America for pioneer settlement.

And Walt Disney with his own personal fascination with space exploration was clearly the embodiment of that same conviction to seek “further beyond”.



And the question remains, have secret advanced technologies since the days of Disneyland’s grand opening actually mastered Tesla’s dream of inter-dimensional space-flight? And has a utopian society been established on another world in space—a REAL “Tomorrowland”?



DYSTOPIA-LAND

Of course one could agree with cynical Disney detractors that all of his theme parks are a no more than extravagant, bells-and-whistles carnival distractions with no meaningful relevance to the REAL world…



But under closer examination we see the so-called “REAL” world is just as fake and contrived as any theme park but on a far grander and deadlier scale; a “Magical Kingdom” designed to serve the brutal, ruthless ambitions of greedy “imagineers” like David Rockefeller, Rupert Murdoch, George Soros and Jacob Rothschild.



Where they dispense fake money, poison food, deadly pharmaceuticals, and noxious pollution for their own personal profit! And their control of this ‘prison-planet theme-park’ is now so absolute, that any people genuinely wishing to make a better world would have to secretly leave the planet altogether before that better future could ever be realized.

CONCLUSION: Seeking Optimists…











Disney’s “Tomorrowland” movie may well be no more than an imaginative science-fiction romp but it still contains a message of profound truth that a population totally brainwashed with pessimism is literally engineering its own destruction, and that a simple shift of consciousness can change the world for the better. The world we experience is simply ‘feed-back’ from the universal holodeck to remind us where our attention is focused. To change the world we have to change our minds!



In 2006 a film documentary called “The Secret” claimed that the ‘law of attraction’ is the key to manifesting our desired reality, but perhaps more accurately stated, the ‘law of attention’ is what manifests our reality. We hold the images of the world with our attention. The collective focus of humanity becomes its experience. As such the limits to our reality are no more than the limits to our imagination.



And a Master 33rd degree Freemason such as Walt Disney would have fully understood that basic principle of practical magic; that deliberately focused awareness can literally create any world it chooses, a power possessed by everyone.



Once liberated and reconnected with Universal Consciousness every individual consciousness has the potential to ultimately realize its true place within the incalculable diversity of infinite creation… the ultimate “Tomorrowland”!

We are energetic probes created by the universe, and it’s because we are possessors of energy that has awareness that we are the means by which the universe becomes aware of itself.
